Chapter 10

-Ross...-I looked at him.

-Yeah? -He asked. We were at his room now doing our project. He was wearing grey sweatpants and was...shirtless. I was with my clothes from before getting in the pool.

-So...about the Catherine thing...-he stopped looking at his laptop then looked at me.

-(Y/n) ...okay, um, I saw her today at school.

-Oh really? -I asked.

-Yeah, and honestly, I don't have any classes with her. -what a relief, I thought.

-But I do have her in my lunch period.

-Really? What lunch do you have?

-I have "A"lunch

-For real? I do too. I didn't see you in the cafeteria. Where were you..?

Ross's POV:
Okay so..I have no idea why she's so interested on me going out with Catherine...but now that she asked me where I was during lunch, I couldn't lie to her, she's my best friend. Okay...here I go.

-I was with Catherine. We were by the gym. So that's were I asked her out. She was like "oh, that is so cute. I like you too." Then...we kissed..then turned out to be a make-out session and...-she stopped me from talking.

-Okay! I don't need to know anymore..

-Oh haha, sorry. -I looked down.

-No problem. Hey uh..I gotta get back to uh...home. It's getting late so, you know...-I looked at her again.

-Yeah, about that, I'll walk you home.-I said gently.

-No! Ross it's okay. Don't...-she said. I don't know why but I could sense she was trying to avoid me.

-Oh. Okay. -I said.

-Yeah so...-she was about to walk out the door when I got up from my bed fast to stop her.
-(Y/n), wait! -I grabbed her by the arm.

-Yes? -she turned around to face me. I stood quite, she did too.

-I love you (Y/N). I said looking at her in the eyes.

-I love you too, Ross. -she smiled and then I let her go.

(Y/N)'s POV:
Okay so I know that "I Love You" thing is like just friends. We been totally telling each other "I love you" since we been best friends. But...when I tell him that I love him..I actually mean it, like, I don't love him like in a friendship way, I love him more than that. I'm in love with my best friend. He doesn't know it, and I'm sure when he tells me that he loves me too...is just by the friendship way.
