Season 2 of Riverdale
With Sweet Pea and Rory now g...
It's late when Sweet Pea gets back to his trailer "Sorry, I didn't think that would take so long. Have you eaten?" "No not yet" "Do you want me to cook something?" "You cook?" I look at Sweet Pea with surprised look "Oh don't act so surprised. I've lived on my own for a while now" "Well ok then" I get up off Pea's couch and follow him into the kitchen area and sit on the counter top "I popped home and got your present" "Lets eat first then we can share presents" "Sounds good to me" Pea starts getting out pots and pans, but all I can think about what was in that bag "What's wrong?" I'm pulled out of my thoughts by Pea holding my hands "What was in that bag today?" Pea sighs at my question "I don't want to say" "Please, I need to know" "Ok, but you can't tell a soul. Drugs, weed, but it's something to do with Penny and Jughead. I don't really know much" "Oh god" I frown "What?" "That time I saw Jughead talking to Penny and then he was talking to Archie about something, but wouldn't tell me. Archie didn't come home till late that night. Has Jughead got my brother dealing drugs?" I look up at Sweet Pea nervously "I don't know baby" he places his hands on my face. He uses his thumb to rub my check to try and calm me down. I look up into his eyes. I push his face to mine by the back of his head. Our kiss turns into a make out and soon our clothes are on the floor and we have forgotten about eating.
The next morning Pea gets a message of Jughead telling him to meet him and the other Serpents. When we arrive Pea and I sit down next to Fangs and Jughead starts his speach "Penny Peabody has got my dad dealing drugs. I know this cause she had me doing them before him. Now she's roped in Tall Boy and Sweet Pea" "Man if you're pissed because your old man tapped me instead of you" Pea says, I take his hand in mine "No. I'm pissed because I don't want the Serpents to end up like the Ghoulies. And I doubt that any of you became Serpents just to be at the beck and call of a drug queenpin. I know where this ends. Death, Jail. Which is why in the interest of self preservation we have to take out Penny" "Snake charmers help some of us" Pea says "Oh yeah? What did she ask for in return Sweet Pea? How many favours" "Babe?" I look at Pea who looks a little ashamed "Now if we don't stop Penny tonight she is going to get every single one of us in on this I promise you. I promise you Sweet Pea. What I'm asking is are you willing to risk your necks to save my dads life?" "What is the first law?" Toni says getting up from her bike that she was leaning on "No Serpent stands alone" Sweet Pea says leaning forward then getting up "I'm in" he says and the others join suit "So am I" I say standing up as well "No baby it's to risky" I look at Pea who's face is full of worry "I'm a Serpent let me help" I turn back to look at Jug and nod slightly at him letting him know that I stand with him.
That night we meet the Serpents with masks on ready for Jug's plan "FP?" I hear Penny call out as I stand outside with the other Serpents "your early old boss" Penny opens up the door that Jughead is stood in front of while we wait behind the corner so we can't be seen yet "Penny, ho Merry ho" "Jughead" Penny sighs "nice crowbar" "This? I brought it incase I needed to pry the door open" I then hear him throw the crowbar on the floor "Are you going to give me a hand with this?" "You ready?" Pea asks me holding out a mask for me to put on "Yeah" I take the mask and put it on. We walk to Jughead and stand behind him "Neither of us are going to be here" Penny turns around and looks a little shocked at first then collects her self "Is this supposed to scare me?" Sweet Pea leads the others over to her and she begins to get worried "I wouldn't do this if I were you. You are making a big mistake. You are making.... Are you out of your mind?" she yells as Pea puts a bag over her head. We soon arrive in Greendale where Toni takes off the bag so Penny can see. We have all taken off our masks now so Penny knows who we are "Where am I?" "Your in Greendale. Your new home" Jug crouches in front of Penny "but frankly Penny, I don't care where you set up shop, but it's not gonna in Riverdale and it's not gonna be with the Serpents. You wanna deal drugs? you wanna extort people? that's your business, but not on the Southside. That belongs to us" Penny starts laughing "You stupid cocky kid. The Serpent law says you can't hurt one of your own" Penny rolls her sleeve up to reveal her Serpent tattoo. Jughead then stands up "Oh Penny, it's time you learn" he takes off his jacket "grab her" Sweet Pea and Toni grab her. Fangs pulls me to him "What are you doing? get off of me get off me" she yells as Jug pulls out a pocket knife "That tattoo doesn't make you a Serpent" "No no" she screams "no no no" Jug starts to cut at her arm. I turn my face away starting to feel a little sick and Fangs rubs my back trying to comfort me.
Once it's over Pea takes me to my house "You ok? you've been quite since..." "Yeah I dunno I guess watching Jug do that just..." "Will you be alright tonight?" "I think so" I give Pea a weak smile "Hey errr I have your Christmas present" he puts his hand in his pocket and gives me a small box. I open it up and see a serpent ring "I know it's not much but..." "No I love it. Thank you" I take the ring and put it on my index finger "I never gave you yours, it's in your room" "I look forward to seeing it when I get back. Goodnight Rory" "Goodnight Sweets" we kiss and I walk into my house "Next time tell Sweet Pea I want you home before 10" dad says walking over to me as I'm about to go up stairs "Of course. Sorry. I'll see you in the morning good night" "Goodnight"

Christmas Day Archie and I open presents, dad opens his and we ring mom "Wow that sounds amazing mom" Archie says as mom is telling us about her trip "What's it like at home?" she asks "It's been... quiet" I decided to not tell her that Archie caught the Black Hood "I love you guys. Have a good rest of the day" "You too" Archie says "We love you too mom, see you soon" I say then Archie passes the phone to dad "Hey there. Merry Christmas lady. How's the Bahamas?" Archie gets a message and goes outside. I run up to my room and ring Sweet Pea.
