Eagerly, Thanos made to reach for it, Tony rammed his shoulder into his and tried to push him away. But he knocked him out easily and turned back to it. This time, Thor stepped in to stop him. He swung the Stormbreaker and hit the Mjolnir at Thanos. He dodged it easily and grabbed the handle of the axe, to stop it from tearing into his heart. Thor summoned Mjolnir back and locked it against Thanos's other arm. Steve jumped on the Titan's back to help Thor drive the blade of the axe into the Titan.

Thanos headbutted the God of Thunder and grabbed Steve. He slammed him to the ground, knocking him out, crawled over to the Glove and picked it up.

Carol jumped on the back of his knee and pinned him down by it. She threw a punch at him and ducked back to avoid his fist. She punched him twice and tried to grab the Glove. But Thanos caught her by the arm, and flung her aside.

He slipped the Glove on; multicoloured streaks from each of the Stones respectively shot up the Titan's arm. Groaning in pain, he lifted his arm to snap his fingers.

Carol caught his arm and pulled it down to her level as she was on her knees. Slowly, she started to spread his hands to stop him from snapping. Thanos headbutted her; but she didn't even flinch. Using her powers, she got off of the ground and forced to the Titan to a knee, having a firm grip on the Glove.

She pulled her arm back to hit him; Thanos grabbed the Power Stone, closed his fists around it as it burned his skin, and punched her back it. Carol was sent flying back and he put the Stone back in the slot of the Glove.

Gathering large green mists of energy in her hand above her head, Y/N landed on the ground and hurled it at him. Thanos stumbled back slightly and held the Glove in front of him to defend himself.

Rage. That was the only thing that Y/N felt at the moment. She watched Vision die in vain. She stood aside and watched. This time, she wouldn't repeat the same mistake with Nat's sacrifice. She wouldn't let Thanos get what he wants. She won't lose again. Not this time.

With each energy blast, each punch, Vision's and Nat's body flashed in front of her eyes, though she never witnessed the latter's death. This further fuelled her pent up anger and frustration, her blasts further intensifying one after the other. The Titan could do nothing but stagger back.

Thanos used all the Stones in the Glove and sent a string of white beam at her. Y/N formed a green shield in front of her and skidded back on the hard ground on her feet.

She swung along with the white energy beam and spun around. Rising into the air, she kicked him right across jaw and landed on the ground in front of him, breathing heavily and blew the strand hair that fell on her face, eyes glowing green.

Thanos wiped the blood from his jaw and looked up at her, "I'll give you credit for that."

With a tilt of her head, green mists enveloped the Mad Titan at once.

Y/N forced him to his knees; one hand with a cloud of green energy, holding him to the ground and the other spreading his hand to prevent him from snapping. Thanos yelled in pain at the intensity of hold of green energy as they burned through his damaged arm and Y/N smirked in satisfaction. Slowly, she started to stretch out his limbs, trying to slip of the Gauntlet off his hand.

Thanos pulled out the Power Stone from the Glove again. He couldn't hold his fist as his hand was already damaged, so he exposed it to her. A purple string of energy shot out of the outstretched Infinity Stone. Y/N's eyes widened in shock as a bright blast of green threw her and Thanos on their backs, away from each other, the former knocked out at once.

Managing to get to his feet and clutching the Power stone in his left palm, Thanos placed it back in the Gauntlet and cried out in pain as he felt the intensity of all the six Infinity stones once again.

Doctor Strange watched this happen from afar and turned to Tony, who had just propped himself up on his elbows.

With pursed lips and a grim expression, he shakily raised his pointer finger.

Y/N groaned as she felt her blood rush through her body and heart race against her ribcage. She had felt this way before, but she couldn't recall where. She rolled over to her front on her elbows and dragged herself up. She frowned as she felt something warm trickle down her nose.

Touching the spot gently, she looked down at her stained finger. She was bleeding, but her blood seemed to be darker than usual. Wincing as she felt blood rush to her ears, and slowly got to her feet.

Okoye and Shuri appeared at her either sides and she ran a hand through her hair. They watched as the army of Thanos disintegrate into dust, being carried away along with the flow of the wind.

In the distance, they saw the all the Avengers gathered around, a few in the back were on their knees, ducking their heads.

Spiderman moved aside to reveal the half-burnt figure of Tony Stark in his crumpled suit. His right hand had all the Infinity Stones attached to it and Y/N understood at once. She felt her eyes gather tears as Pepper leaned into to press one final kiss to his cheek.

Y/N got to the ground on one knee beside Shuri, paying her respects to the man who sacrificed his life for the universe.
