Chapter Fourteen: Say Hello To Lisa Rose
"Lisa get your ass over here!" Dynasty shouts to me, beeping the car horn to gain my attention.
"Yeah, yeah." I mumble, flicking the half smoked cigarette from my hand.
"We're going to be late." She huffed as I got into the passenger seat of the car.
"You care about being late?" I was taken by surprise, Dynasty hates school. Why would she care about being late?
"Bitch shut up. You know I have a thing for my History teacher." She stated, starting the engine. "I have his class first period and I don't wanna miss seeing his firm ass."
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes at her. "I think I'm ditching with Severide anyways." I leaned against the seat, propping my feet up on the dashboard.
"Oh yeah? Another hook up or did you decide you need to be high to fuck him?" She laughed to herself and I couldn't help but join in.
"Nah, but I do have some wicked roofies you can slip Mr. James." I said, giving her a sarcastic wink.
We both laughed and kicked up the radio, drowning each others voices out. I sat back in my seat, half asleep from the party we hit up last night. Hell, I'm surprised I don't have a hangover after all that drinking. I guess it pays off to be young.
We pulled into the school parking lot, lucky enough to find a good spot to park. I quickly got out of the car, scanning the lot for Severide's motorcycle. I was sad when I didn't see him, but then I remembered that it's only 8 in the morning. He hates school, that's why he's 19 and still a senior. I really don't get the point in him continuing to go to school if he's not going to try to pass. I tell him repeatedly to just drop out, but he always shrugs it off.
I love that about him. He always has such a carefree, reckless attitude. I love the power he holds, the fear he gets from people. He's always so in demand, in control. I have to admit, just thinking about that man turns me on.
"How do I look?" Dynasty asked, pulling me back into reality.
I walked over to her side of the car, inspecting every inch of her body. Her straight, layered black hair matched well with her shiny black pumps. I took in her black leather jacket that was covering her white tube top. Her skin tight jeans were a faded grey with rips up the sides, giving her an added edgy look, along with her thick black eyeliner.
"I'd tap that." I gave a smirk as she pretended to blush.
"Aw, you're too kind Vixen."
"God, don't start with that nickname again." I said rolling my eyes and hurrying away from her.
"Where you off to Vixen?!" She laughed at the fact I hate that nickname and finding enjoyment in my pain.
I walked into the school, making my way towards my locker. I kicked hard at the bottom, then gave a tap to the top for it to pop open for me. I grabbed a random notebook out and headed towards my first class.
I walked into my English class late with all eyes on me.
"So great for you to join us Ms. Rose." Mr. Aponte stated, leaning back in his chair and sipping on his coffee.
I flashed him the middle finger as I headed for a seat in the back. I plopped down on the hard plastic chair and began doodling in my notebook.
I absolutely love to draw. If I could do it all day, I would. I love the fact that with art comes no limits, no boundaries. You can go as far as your mind takes you without ever having to stop. Art opens up apart of me that's truly unexplainable.
