Chapter Fifteen: Stepping Down And Rising Up

* * * HUNTER'S POV * * *

"Motherfucker!" I scream, smashing another glass table.

"Hunter, you need to calm down." Luna begs.

I've been breaking things and screaming since I got back here. How could Lisa do this to me? She left and now I can't help her! Shes become everything I hate in humans, yet I'm still in love with her. Seeing her today made me hate myself for not looking for her sooner and now I can't get her off my mind.

"What's taking Darren so long?!" I question, angered by the slow results on my mate.

"He's trying his hardest Hunter, relax. Now if you would excuse me, I have to clean up your mess." Luna gives me a worried look before rushing off to get the cleaning supplies.

Even with this information on her, what can I do? She obviously doesn't remember me if she's with someone else. What if she does remember, but still hates me. The thought of that made me furious, causing me to punch a hole in the nearest wall.

Lisa has to remember me, how could she forget? You don't just wake up one morning as something completely different from who you were yesterday with no memory of the old you. Lisa's in there somewhere, I just have to pull her to her senses.

"Alpha Moon." Darren enters, bowing his head before me.

"Darren get to the point." I urge, not liking any second that passes without Lisa in my arms.

"Well her name is Lisa, Lisa Lee Rose." He begins, pulling out a sheet of paper to read her information off of. "Her Father is John Rose, he works as a lawyer. Her Mother is Grace Rose, a housewife. She's exactly 18 years of age and a senior at Crystal Lake High..." His voice trails off.

"Continue." I demand, needing to hear more.

"Well her boyfriend is Severide Taylor. He's 19 and still a senior at  Crystal Lake High." I could tell by the look on Darren's face that he didn't want to inform me on the last part.

"Thank you Darren, you've been of great service." I compliment. Darren places the piece of paper on the last unsmashed table in the room before walking out to leave me with my thoughts.

So she's dating a 19 year old slacker? Typical human. I wonder what other kinds of trouble she gets herself into. As a wolf she was always stubborn and loving, has that changed? I need to find out, I need to do something to get her back.

"Why don't you go to high school?" Luna asks, skipping into the room with a broom in her hand. 

"You sound crazy." I ignore her comment completely, going to high school at 22 wouldn't work.

"Seriously Hunter? Just say that your 18 or 19, no one will care. Humans are stupid, you said it yourself, they'll believe anything." She stated, rolling her eyes.

"Luna if your not forgetting, I have a pack to run. I can't just go play human!"

"Hunter just put Darren in charge, I'll help watch over things and if something goes bad you'll be the first to know. This is your mate we're talking about, as part fairy I have to make you go after her." She demanded, crossing her arms over her chest while giving me glare that told me no isn't an option. 

"Luna I can't!" She's wrong, I'm Alpha first, mate second.

"I cannot believe you just thought that!" Luna screamed at me, moving in closer. "Hunter your mate is always first. You are going to enroll in high school, make Darren temporary Alpha and get Lisa back!"
