Forgotten Daughter series

First of all, Tyler would NOT wear the same clothes as in the picture. He's way more casual like hoodies and jeans, but this was pretty close to how I imagined him. (Like... looks wise.)

Anyway, Tyler came into existence when I was home alone just talking to myself, you know, like you do, and I suddenly had the idea - what if Ali had an opposite? And suddenly... tada! Tyler was born - the fiery son of Apollo. (Literally 😂)

The whole concept of the Chosen and their powers playing off each other derived from the same conversation, which went on for like an hour. 😐

I haven't had a lot of time to write Tyler, but I already love him - his dynamic with Ali, his lapse between being super heroic to kind of cowardly (like when he had Ali go down the stairs first. 😂), his haunting past that you all don't know about. (Yet at least.)

When I came up with his character, I kind of planned for him and Ali to be a ship, but I also didn't want to rush it. (Hope I did a good job developing their relationship first. 😅) I thought it would make sense, considering how close they have to be in order to use their powers.

My favorite scene with him is probably just all the times he's totally baffled by what Ali has seen and done, like when she tells him she's been to the Dream Realm before and he's just like... 😮. I can't. 😂😂 It was so hilarious and fun to write.

My favorite part to write, again this will sound awful, but the moment when he's reliving the scene with his little sister in the Valley of Nightmares. In all honesty, I sort of came up with it on the fly, but I LOVE it. 🥰 because I can't have a character without a traumatic backstory. Right? 😈 All kidding aside, I loved writing the emotion and showing a different side to him - the regret, guilt, and fear.

Is there something wrong with me?? 😅

It's kind of sad that I won't get a chance to explore Tyler's character more as he fades to the back burner with Ali after War Mantle, but I'm glad I got the time I did with him.

Will you guys miss him too?

I'll miss him so much. 🥺

So, this one was shorter, but Tyler hasn't been around as long as the others so... 🤷‍♀️.

*Gasps* WAIT! Wait, wait, wait... what if I did Tyler's side of the story. Like what's happening to him during the PJO series and stuff? What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
