I'll sort of be reviewing them in a sense. I'll tell you why I love them, explain how/why their powers work, describe my magi...

Obviously, these two need to go together, because... they're twins. Can't have one without the other.
So... I have a strange obsession with twins. For whatever reason, I just love twin characters. (i.e. Fred & George) I also make quite a few twin characters. (Lydia & Lyra, Owen & Oliver, Bethany & Peter, and some others.) I have no idea why I like twins so much, I just do. 🤷♀️
Anyway, I love that, even though they're identical, they have such different personalities. Lyra is diplomatic and polite, while Lydia's a sassy little spitfire.
They don't get a lot of page-time, but I love their dynamic. Lyra acts like an older sibling and keeps Lydia out of trouble.
It's sad I didn't get to show off their powers more, but maybe I'll get that chance in the next one.
My favorite part with them is probably when they first get introduced. (Like officially. in their cabin) It immediately shows the contrast between the two sisters and establishes their personalities so well.
My favorite part to write was, don't hate me, them saying goodbye to Ali. We don't get to see much of their relationship with Ali, but this moment shows how much they care and how close the girls really are. 🥺
Meg: Meg is so cute and so sweet and so hardcore. She has this horrible childhood, moving from place to place all the time, never knowing her real parents, no family of her own, until she meets Ali!
I made them biological sisters because I thought it would make more sense if Artemis fell for one guy and did it twice, rather than falling for two different guys. What do you think? Plus, you know, it makes things more... ✨dramatic.✨ (And by dramatic I mean complicated.)
I love Meg's power. I'd love to explore it more and see just how far she can go. How much sway does she really have over animals? She may be part of the reason Ali finds/tames Baron, but I don't even know how that happened, so... 😅
I also love her and Ali's sisterly relationship. They have such a strong bond. They're protective of each other and could/would kick some serious butt if one of them got hurt. 😏
Overall, Meg's just a sweet little cinnamon roll and I love her SO much. 🥰
My favorite part with her would have to be... just anytime she's interacting with Baron. 🥺 I love their relationship. Baron is such a sweetheart and I love him as a character, but I love how excited he gets when he sees her and how she talks to him and the fact that she just comes charging into battle on his back.
My favorite part to write, again don't hate me, was definitely Ali telling her she's leaving. That was the scene that revealed just how close they were. And THAT LINE - "I don't want all them. I just want my sister." Gah! I wrote it and it kills me. 😭😭😭
I really love how all three of these girls interact with one another. They have a such a strong sisterly bond despite the centuries age difference. Lyra is kind of the "mom"/mediator of the group and Lydia and Meg are the siblings that butt heads all the time. Ali is sort of the older more distant sister. She honestly doesn't fit as well into their group dynamic, which is sad, but fits her character. These girls just care about each other SO much! 🥺🥺🥺 I love all my little Artemis babies.
