Forgotten Daughter series
I LOVE the dream gods SO much!!!😍😍😍 I love how the type of dream that they control influences their personality. Phantasus is more normal, Morpheus is fed up with pretty much everything (already seen it all in his prophetic dreams), and Phobetor is borderline insane, cause, you know, fever dreams.
Morpheus:
So, obviously, Morpheus has had more page time. That means there's more to love!I have to say, I love my version of Morpheus. He's such an arrogant little... A-hole. (And... that's the closest I'll ever come to swearing. 😅) He's so annoying in the best way, if that makes any sense. He's such a jerk, but he's so relatable. It's kind of sad.
My favorite part with him is probably just the little moments when he's just so inconsiderate. (i.e. him jerking the covers off his father, him interrupting Ali and Tyler's moment, etc.) 😂 Oh, it's so great.
My favorite part to write was probably him trying to convince Ali to join Kronos after she lost her memories and the battle after. That scene worked out SO well. Guys! Seriously! At that point I was still reading through the PJO series and I hadn't reached the part where we found out Morpheus was working for Kronos yet!!!!! And the creepy part is, this isn't the only time something like this has happened. I've had multiple scenes/details of this series that just worked out perfectly before I even knew why. 😐
Also, the fight after that scene. Just... *chef's kiss* I love the concept of Morpheus being able to conjure any weapon from human history/imagination. And then Phantasus comes in and just stabs him through the chest! I love that whole fight scene.
Phantasus:
Phantasus was also a fun character to write. I love how different he is from his brother. Just, sort of, normal. He's loyal to Olympus and mankind. He's the one that sees people's hopes and dreams - the things they wish for or can't have in real life.My favorite part with him is probably him fighting Morpheus in Birthright. It's an awesome fight scene and it's his first introduction and it's just... so good.
My favorite part to write would have to be any interaction between him and Morpheus. The two of them are like Poseidon and Zeus. They're just at each other's throats all the time. 😂
Phobetor:
Last but not least, the semi-sane brother. I know I don't get into Phobetor's character all that much, but I still love him. I love his implied craziness and that he forces himself to remain sane so he can do is brothers' jobs while they're otherwise occupied. My favorite part with him is him telling off his brothers. He basically just goes: "Shut up, I've been doing your jobs on top of mine because you two are acting like children." He's like the Hades of their group. 😂
My favorite part to write is probably the same. He doesn't think have much page time. 😕
My favorite part to write with all of these characters, this is gonna sound weird, was writing all of them in their different cat forms. It was such a fun concept and I had so much fun with it.
