Lianna was my first attempt at writing a story in the first person. It was actually really interesting. It has such a different feel from a third-person story. I could add more emotion and feeling to the actual narrator because they're connected to the events that are happening.

Lianna herself is kind of a boss! (In my opinion anyway.) At times I think I might have made her a little OP. 😅 (Especially in Daughter of the Empire)

The reason I love Lianna is because she's so different from other characters. She does have some similar attributes to characters like Ali and Valerie (i.e. she's a loner) but she's so much more open about her feelings and she's mastered the concept of not forming strong attachments. She has friends, but she wouldn't give up the entire galaxy just to save them or turn to the dark side to protect them. Although, she may release her anger when her friends are hurt. (i.e. when Jarris died and she killed a bunch of clones.)

I am in love with her relationship with Obi Wan. She's so sassy and sarcastic. She annoys him because they're so similar. 😂

Also, the Padawan Squad is the best!!!!😍 I love Lianna, Jarris, and Ashoka and I love them interacting even more. They're such a fun group. I love that they can keep each other upbeat and optimistic despite it being wartime.

I have a lot of sad backstories, but Lianna's is one of the worst. Her entire village was destroyed and she was taken into slavery at like age 7. After two years of making trouble so she doesn't get sold, she finally escapes only to get left behind on an uninhabited planet where she has to survive for like five years before she actually interacts with someone besides Karon and his scrappers.

Speaking of, I love the rivalry between her and Karon and the unexplored history. The fact that Karon has this fearful respect for her only deepens the intrigue of their relationship. He'll probably never make another appearance, but it was such a fun little part to write. 😁

Another relationship I enjoyed writing was her and Kanan. She's so protective of him. She feels a bit responsible for him since she couldn't save his master. In all honesty, while writing them together, sometimes I forget that she's older than him. 😂

Anyway, one of my favorite parts with her is probably when she fought Maul on Mandalore. Not only is it the best fight in the book (IMO), it's also her defending her planet and proving her skill with her lightsabers. It was such a cool fight to write and I can just imagine seeing it animated. 😍 (that would be amazing!)

My favorite scene to write would have to be going undercover as a bounty hunter. It was one of the missions I was most excited about when I first started the story. Writing her darker side and showing how much she cares about Obi-wan. Not to mention that I kind of love her as a bounty hunter and had WAY too much faking her death. 😈
