I have a nasty habit of turning "throw-away" characters into my favorite boys. 🥰 No Shame!!!

Owen was literally created to be nobody. He was just there to help Aubrey save Ali. I didn't even give him a name until War Mantel. I gave him a twin because... why not.

Anyway, I kind of forgot about him until recently and realized I should talk about him and what happened after Last Olympian. That's when I gave him and his brother names and decided who their godly parent was and well... basically everything. 😂

That being said... I love his personality. I love that he's a sweet little bean. I love his relationship with Ali. I love that he still has grief/regret over his brother's death.

Question: Is it bad that I really like Oliver, Owen's brother, even though he died before he even got a name? 😐

Anyway, Owen's relationship with Ali is so pure and innocent and... amazing!!! He just cares about her so much and is so protective, because he's trying to fulfill his brother's dying act to protect her. 🥺 They Just have such a cool connection and he's one of my favorite OCs of all time! 😍😍😍

I now realize I haven't really explored his relationship with anyone else, like his siblings in the Hecate cabin or Ali's sisters or even Aubrey, who we know he has some sort of connection to. Hopefully I'll have the chance to remedy that, especially if I do a ToA fanfic.

(😮 Maybe I could focus on him as a main character in that. What do you think?)

Also, I can't wait to explore his abilities as a son of Hecate!!!!! 😆😆 I had literally no reason for making him a child of Hecate, but I love it SO much now!!!

My favorite part with him, so far at least, would probably be his pep talk with Ali during War Mantel. He's just... too pure for this world.🥺 He tries so hard to help Ali see that she belongs at camp, even though he knows she won't believe him. Aaaa!!!! He cares so much about her and I. Can't. Handle. It!!!!! He's too good. 😍😍😍😍😍

Currently, my favorite scene to write was... I don't know! I just love him so much. He may just be my favorite OC yet. 🥰 I can't wait to find ways to use him more.
