So, this is the review book thing that some of you were so excited about.
As I'm sure you've noticed if you've read any number of my stories, I have a lot of female OCs and any male OCs I bring in are side characters. This is simply because my stories and characters are sort of a self insert into the story. Basically, if I was a character, this is what I would want to be. So, that's why most of them are girls.
I'm sure you've also noticed, I give my characters REALLY crappy lives. Ali was orphaned at age seven and ignored by her mom for a full decade. (Not to mention everything else I put her through) Rhea's home was destroyed and then her father figure was taken away and she was turned into a human weapon. Don't get me started on Valerie. (Three words: Gren, Project Balefire) Lianna was taken into slavery, escaped on an uninhabited planet, and watched both of her best friends die. Megan has an internal war constantly threatening to literally tear her apart and her brother, the closest person to her, no longer remembers she exists. 😐
So... yeah. As a self insert, I give myself some pretty sucky lives, but it makes for a cool/fun/dramatic story. 😁
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy me just nerding out and going WAY too far into my characters.
Also, random note, I have an inexplicable love for this cover. I wasn't sure it would turn out, but after like an hour of spacing and resizing the pictures... I really like it. 😍
