Jade's POV:

Can this day seriously get even worse? I am standing in front of our house emptying my purse because I can't find my keys. The walk in the park did not help at all. Every meeting in the afternoon was a mess. By now I'm just ready to get inside and have a good cry.

I still had tons of work I should get done, but I simply hadn't had time and was so frustrated I decided to go home. "Where the fuck are my keys," I grumble as I see all my belongings lying on the ground before the door.

No keys.

I decide to ring the doorbell and just pray that Perrie is home. "Come on, Pez, open up." After a few more minutes of me continuously ringing the doorbell, the door finally swung open.

"Jade? Why are you ringing the doorbell? You have a key, you know?" I walk past her annoyed and frustrated. "Thanks for that, smartass. I can't find my keys. What took you so long?"

"Damn, you're in a mood. As you can see, I just came out of the shower." I look her up and down and her hair is indeed still damp from the shower. "I'm sorry, Pez, rough day at work." I wave her off and make my way to the kitchen.

Perrie follows me there and watches me take a bottle of water out of the fridge. She gives me a concerned look and steps closer to me. "Do you want to talk about it, baba?"

I just stay silent and throw myself in her arms. Her arms wrap around my waist immediately as she pulls me closer to her. I pull away slightly to look into her eyes, which are filled with concern. "No, not really, but thanks. How was your day?"

Perrie's eyes widen slightly before she regains herself. "Fine, can't really make a decision about which pictures to show at the gallery though." She is looking at something behind me the whole time. She's clearly hiding something from me, but I decide not to push it.

"Looks like we both had a pretty crappy day. Do you have any more plans for tonight?" I hope she says she doesn't. I really want a quiet night in with me just cuddling up to the blonde as we watch some silly show.

"Actually, I do." Her playful tone makes me look up to her. "Actually, we both do." Seconds later, Leigh-Anne and Holly burst into our kitchen holding bags of popcorn and as many DVD's as they can carry.

"GIRLS NIGGGHHHTTT" Holly shouts through the house as she makes her way to our living room. I feel Perrie squeeze my hand, so my eyes once again find hers. "I thought we could use a night in with our friends." She smiles sweetly, god that damn smile. My eyes flicker to her lips, but I quickly look up again as I realize what I'm doing.

I pull her in a hug again so she can't see me blushing. "Thank you, Pezza. I really need this right now." Perrie rubs my back as she whispers a soft "you're welcome."

I take her hand and pull her with me to the living room. Leigh and Holly have already claimed one couch, so Perrie and I have to sit together on the smallest one. I inwardly thank my friends for being selfish fuckers.

I pull Perrie with me on the couch and immediately snuggle into her. "What are we watching?" I'm already feeling better just by the sound of her voice and her fingers playing with my hair. Crazy how just one person can change your mood just like that. But then again, that's what friends are for, aren't they?

I lay my head on the blonde's shoulder and try to get even closer to her. My fingers start tracing patterns on the skin of Perrie's side where her shirt has risen up a little.

I hear her a sharp breath when my fingers touch her skin and smile at myself. I love that I can have that effect on her. Especially since she has slept with half of the UK, it feels nice to know that I still can make her blush whenever I want.
