Chapter 15

Perrie's POV:

The sound of a phone buzzing wakes me up. Groaning, I try to blindly grab for it but fail and have to open my eyes.

I answer the phone call without checking the caller-ID. "Don't ever call me this early on a Saturday ever again."

"It's ten in de morning, Perrie. Get your ass out of bed now. We are going to the beach."

The call ends and I decide to just snooze a little longer before getting ready. After what feels like only seconds, someone storms into the room and yanks the curtains open.

"Come on, Perrie. Holly and Leigh are picking us up in 15 minutes." I cover my eyes with my arm to stop the sunlight from blinding me. "Huh? What time is it?" My voice is still hoarse from sleep

"10:45" I jolt up and look at Jade in confusion, but she's just looking amused. "Why didn't you wake me any sooner?"

Jade smiles as she makes her way to my door. "So I only have to deal with grumpy morning Perrie for fifteen minutes." She winks and walks out.

What the hell has gotten her so happy this early. There is literally no reason at all to ever be happy in the morning. Unless you have morning sex, but that is not the case with her.

Okay, maybe she has a point about me not being the best company in the morning.

I quickly put on my bikini and throw a loose shirt and some jeans shorts on top of it. Running out of my room, I bump into Jade full speed, making me fall on top of her straddling her waist.

"Fuck, I'm sorry. Are you hurt?" The brunette underneath me just starts laughing her head off at what just happened and even though I'm not a morning person, I can't help but laugh with her.

My hands start tickling her sides so I can hear that beautiful laugh a little longer. She squirms underneath me and tries to escape my grasp.

"Perrie, stop!!" She giggles and squirms even more, making her thigh shoot up and push against my core. I moan at the unexpected contact and quickly pull my hands away from Jade, who's looking at me with wide eyes.

A deep red covers my cheeks and I quickly stand up, offering Jade my hand to help her stand up too.

She happily takes my hand and chuckles when I pull her up a little too forcefully, making her stand really close to me. Before I even know it's happening, Jade pecks my lips softly and walks away giggling.

"Come on, Pezza. They're going to be here any minute now." She says over her shoulder.

I don't know what happened to make her so happy and playful today, but I'm definitely not complaining.

The doorbell rings, so I throw some random stuff in my bag and grab a sandwich before walking to Holly's car, where Jade is already throwing her stuff in the trunk.

"Ow, there you are. Thought you might still be frozen in the hallway." The brunette winks and steps inside the car, leaving me startled for the second time in less than five minutes.

The car ride to the beach is filled with all of us singing our lungs out to our favourite songs and catching up with each other.

I could feel someone's eyes on me almost the whole ride and I knew it was Jade even without looking. Every time I did look, Jade quickly looked straight ahead, smiling brightly.

Holly was looking at us funny through the mirror, but I just shook it off.

"We're here!" Leigh-Anne shrieks from the front seat. The four of us bolt out of the car and find a good place on the beach to claim.

Holly and I immediately take our shirts off to tan and I lay down on my towel that's next to Jade's. Jade's eyes are on me the whole time, but I try to ignore it as much as possible.

It has been a while since I've had sex, and the rising sexual tension between the two of us isn't helping my constant horny state. It's kind of a relief that Jade struggles with it as well, though.

After an hour, Leigh-Anne starts to become bored. "Come on, Jaaddeee" She wines for the third time after she asked her to go swimming with her.

Jade slowly stands up to wiggle out of her shorts, giving me a good view of her backside. She pulls off her shirt and bends down to place it on her bag.

I'm so glad my sunglasses are dark enough, so she can't see my eyes. Because I can't manage to pull my eyes away from the brunette's perfectly shaped ass.

All the hope I had about me being subtle vanishes when Jade turns around to smirk at me and mouths 'busted'.

The pair makes their way to the water and I don't even try to stop staring at the gorgeous brunette. Her body is banging. Just pretty much everything about it is perfect. It makes me wonder why she became so insecure about it a few days ago. She should be so proud of it.

When Leigh and Jade return to us, the four of us decide to get some ice cream to cool off. Again, Jade decides to tease me like she has all day long.

I have never in my whole life seen someone eat their ice cream as seductively as Jade is doing right now. Her tongue is swirling around it while she looks me straight in the eyes, perfectly knowing what she's doing to me.

If she doesn't stop this torturous behaviour, I swear I'm going to take her to one of the little cabins at the beach and make her mine. I tear my eyes away to stop myself from thinking about that and once again, Holly is looking at us suspiciously.

Jade's POV:

I catch Perrie's eyes again and wink with a smirk on my face. "I'm going to the bathroom," I state, hoping that Perrie gets my hint.

"I'll go with you." Fuck. I muster up the best smile I have and turn to Holly. "Thanks, Holly."

As soon as we are inaudible for Leigh and Pez, Holly starts her lecture. "Jade, what in the world are you doing? You have been eye-fucking Perrie all day and vice versa. You tease the shit out of that girl with everything you do. Do you even remember the conversation we had the last time we spoke about this topic? Don't go there, Jade."

I swallow the lump in my throat before addressing her. "You don't know what's going on, Holly."

"You're right, I don't, and up until now, I was really hoping there wasn't anything going on at all. You have to stop this right now, Jade. She doesn't need another random hook up right now."

"I'm falling for her."

Silence.

I look at the ground because I don't want to see the look of disappointment in my friend's eyes. But to my surprise, a few seconds later, I'm engulfed in a bone-crushing hug.

"Omg, Jade, forget everything I said. I thought you guys were just playing around with the evident sexual tension between the both of you. I never realized this was serious! Oh my god! Does she know?" Holly's eyes are a lot lighter right now and she seems genuinely happy.

"Uhm, no, she doesn't. I want to make sure she feels the same way before I make a move. That's why I have been teasing her all day."

Jesy chuckles, which make me look at her confused. "Oh, Jade. The only thing you're finding out with this teasing is that she wants you in her bed. If you want to know if this means something to her, you have to ask her out on a date."

Always with the best advice on everything I present to you: Holly Robinson. Why didn't I think of just asking her out? God, I really am bad at love.

Wait, no, not love. Just feelings, not love.

Holly nudges my shoulder and smiles encouragingly. "Ask her out tonight."

I smile back at her and now we're just standing there in the bathroom smiling at each other stupidly. "Yeah, I'm going to ask Perrie out on a date."
