Chapter 17

*Trigger warning*

Jade's POV:

My alarm clock waking me up always puts me in a bad mood, but not today. Today I happily wake up in Perrie's arms. I quickly stop my alarm from waking up my sleeping beauty.

The blonde stirs in her sleep and pulls me closer, making me smile against her shoulder. I take my time to look at a sleeping Perrie. She looks so peaceful like this and I wish I could see her like this more often. When she's awake she always seems a little troubled, or her mind wanders. I hope that one day she'll stop that and can just enjoy her life to the fullest again.

Once I'm sure I have all her features memorized, I kiss her bare shoulder and try to wiggle out of her grasp, but she just tightens it.

"Jade, no." She whines with her eyes still closed. I smile fondly at her, even though she can't see me. This one in the morning is really something else.

"Let go, babe. I need to take a shower and go to the office." The blonde sighs but doesn't loosen her grip on me.

"Can't you just stay home today?" She juts her lip out in a pout still with her eyes closed. Chuckling, I answer her. "I have some important meetings today I can't miss. I'm sorry."

I quickly peck her lips and start tickling her sides to get out of her arms. Seconds later, I'm standing next to the bed and Perrie is looking at me with an even bigger pout. "You're mean."

"Naah, you love me." I shrug and turn around to grab some clothes missing the horrified expression on the blonde's face.

I can feel Perrie's eyes on me as I move around the room, still completely naked. I turn around to catch her staring at my ass. "Don't even think about it. I really need to get to work."

Perrie's hands shoot up like she's surrendering. "I was just enjoying the view." I chuckle and make my way out of the room before I give in to the tempting blonde. Yeah, I know, she's not even trying to be tempting, but to me, she still is.

I quickly turn on the shower and jump into the stream of hot water. My whole body is a little sore from last night and the hot water feels amazing. I look down at the dirty water running from my body due to the thick layer of bronzer on it.

I have to swallow back tears at the thought of Perrie ever seeing my bare skin. How am I ever going to tell her about this? She'll never want to be with me once she knows the truth.

I was so deep in thought, I didn't even hear the bathroom door open and close again. Suddenly, two arms wrap around my waist and my whole body stiffens at the contact.

"Maybe I do want a little more than just enjoy the view." Perrie's sultry voice would normally make me shake in a positive way, but right now, I'm just shaking out of fear.

Her hands slowly make patterns on my tummy while her lips softly kiss my neck. She seems completely oblivious to my frozen state. My thoughts are racing faster than ever before. Please don't make me turn around. Just let me wake up from this bad dream.

It's like I have done something to piss of the gods because seconds later, Perrie's hands are on my waist, trying to turn me around. I try to stand my ground, but the blonde is just stronger than me and turns me around effortlessly.

My breath hitches when our eyes meet. Hers are playful but turn worried once she sees mine.

"Jade, what's wrong?" I don't trust my voice not to break, so I just shake my head, trying to indicate that nothing's wrong. In other words, trying to lie.

Her eyes start scanning my body and widen when they lock on my thighs. I quickly close my eyes in a lame attempt to stop the confrontation from happening.
