Jade's POV:

My head is throbbing so hard I feel like my heart is going to jump out through it. I carefully open my eyes to adjust to the light and look around me to see a white, empty room.

Where is Perrie?

I shoot up at the thought and regret it immediately as a sharp pain shoots through my forehead. Just then, the door opens and reveals a short brown-haired nurse.

"Good morning, miss Thirlwall. How are you feeling?" The nurse walks closer to review my vitals and it gives me the chance to read her name card.

"Hey, uhm, Ally. I feel like my head is going to explode, but other than that, I'm fine." The nurse scribbles some things down on her notepad before turning to me.

"That sounds about right. You had a pretty nasty cut behind your ear when you arrived, so we had to stitch you up. You'll probably be good to go home this afternoon." The nurse smiles friendly at me and starts walking to the door. My hand reaches to the place the nurse indicated, but I quickly pull it back when I feel a little bit of my hair is shaved and the area around the cut is still sensitive.

"Wait!" I yell out louder than intended, making the nurse turn around and look at me a little scared. "Sorry, that wasn't meant to come out so loud." I chuckle nervously.

"Do you have any news about the blonde that probably arrived here with me? Perrie Edwards." My eyes start to water when I think about all the things that could have happened to her. It's all my fault. I should have never gone out after our fight.

"Miss Thirlwall." The nurse's sweet voice shakes me out of my thought. "She is okay. She's currently talking to a psychiatrist because she was in a state of shock for a long time. There is no physical damage, but I think she is going to need a lot of emotional support."

I nod my head at that information and Ally walks out of my room. Now I still don't know what happened to her. Everything inside of me is screaming to go find her, but I know it won't do any good if she's with a psychiatrist now. She needs that more than my overprotectiveness.

I decide to close my eyes again because the light is really hurting a lot. Minutes later, I feel myself fall asleep again.

The second time I open my eyes, the sight in front of me is a lot better than the first time. My favourite blond is sitting on a chair next to my bed and she's playing with my fingers. I softly squeeze her hand to let her know I'm awake.

I gasp when Perrie's eyes meet mine. They are a lot duller than usually. She looks broken and it's all my fault.

"Are you okay?" We both say at the same time and usually, I would squeal at how in sync we are, but right now, all I can do is smile softly.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Can you please tell me what happened after I passed out?" My voice sounds unsure because I'm actually not sure if I want to hear what Perrie is going to tell me.

Perrie's gaze locks on our hands as she tries to collect her thoughts. "Honestly, I have no idea what happened. I knew what was going to happen, so I tried to feel nothing. The doctor said it made me go into a state of shock, which led to me temporarily forgetting all of it. Chances are high that it will all come crashing back later, though."

I nod understandingly at her, my poor Pez. She has a tough couple of weeks in front of her. "Did he..." My voice trails off, too afraid to voice my question.

"He didn't." The blonde shakes her head and locks eyes with me. "The police arrived just in time. They say that he was touching me inappropriately, but both of us were still fully dressed." She sucks in a deep breath trying to remain calm about all of this.
