Jade's POV:

I wake up at the feeling of the blonde wiggling out of my arms and standing up from the bed. I watch my lover as she leaves the room. Where the hell is she going at, I glance at my phone, five in the morning?

Probably to the bathroom. However, when I don't hear the squeaking of the bathroom door, my curiosity takes over.

I rub my eyes and push myself off the mattress. How the hell did she find her way out of here in this darkness? Clothes are everywhere on the floor, making me slip every two steps.

When I finally reach the door and step into the hallway, I almost crash into Perrie, who is just leaving her room. She stumbles back and hits the wall softly.

"Hey, why are you up at this hour?" My eyes are slowly adjusting to the darkness and I can see her dazed eyes that aren't exactly focusing on me.

"I-Uh-I was looking for a sweater in my room, but couldn't find it." The blonde speaks very slowly. She must be absolutely exhausted.

"Why are you looking for a sweater at five in the morning?" This girl is not making any sense at all.

"I was cold." The blonde mumbles while finding the ground very interesting to look at.

"Okay, I'm definitely too tired to figure out why you didn't just take one of my sweaters, so let's just go back to bed and snuggle."

I take her hand and drag her with me to our bedroom. She quickly climbs under the covers and pulls me against her chest forcefully. Her body radiates heat, so I have no idea how she is cold, but my eyes are already closing again, so I don't voice my thoughts.

-

When I wake up again, I am alone once more. When I look at my phone, I realize it's already ten in the morning, so I'm not surprised that Perrie is already awake.

As I open the door, my nose is filled with the smell of freshly baked eggs. I hum approvingly and walk over to the blonde who's standing at the stove with her back turned to me.

My arms wrap around her waist and she stiffens for a second before relaxing in my arms. "This smells amazing, Pez." I compliment.

The food isn't the only thing that's smelling amazing. Perrie is drenched in the smell of her perfume. Due to her lack of a sense of smell, she always puts on way too much perfume. But this time, she even outdid herself.

"Thanks, baba." She replies happily and I smile at the nickname. It reminds me of our early stages of friendship. It's amazing how far we have come since then.

Before I can get a hold of my thoughts and stop myself, I hum against her neck. "God, I love you."

Perrie turns around in my arms and for a second, I can see a flash of guilt in her eyes, but she quickly recovers and pecks my lips. "I love you too, Jadey."

I smile and bury my face in the blonde locks, almost suffocating in her perfume. Perrie softly runs her fingers through my hair and I relax completely under her touch.

My stomach growls lowly and Perrie pulls away with a smile. "Let's eat!" I immediately miss the blonde's warmth against me, but I can't deny how hungry I am.

I quickly dig into my breakfast and moan at the taste of the eggs. Last night was pretty eventful and let's just say that Perrie really wore me out.

When I look up, I can see that Perrie has barely touched her food. "How are you not hungry right now?" I ask in disbelieve.

"What are you, the food police?" She asks, clearly annoyed. I jump slightly at her tone. Where the hell did that come from?

"I-I'm sorry... I w-was just wondering h-how you aren't hungry a-after last n-night." I hate the stutter, but I can't help it. She caught me off guard with that comment. Even more so with the tone she used towards me.

Perrie's eyes lock with mine and when she sees how sad I've turned, her eyes get softer. "I didn't mean to snap. I just ate some when I was making it, so I'm not really hungry anymore. Did you know I woke up at 8 already? So I've had some food already before you woke up."

I just nod my head and keep eating in silence. Once we finish breakfast, Perrie places our dishes in the sink and walks over to the living room. "Omg, Jade, I have the best idea ever!" She yells.

When I enter the room, she is jumping up and down excitedly as if she didn't snap at me minutes ago. "We are going to make a blanket fort and watch Disney movies all day!"

I try to hold my excitement because I don't quite trust the sudden mood swing. Perrie wins me over, though, and seconds later, I'm squealing alongside her and we start building our fort.

Once we settle inside it, Perrie pulls my body close to hers and plays the first movie. Aladdin. I squeal and pull her body closer to mine. "You're the best! This day is going to be amazing!"

Halfway to our fourth movie Perrie gets up from our fort. "I am going to use the bathroom." She announces and turns around to walk away.

"That's already the fifth time today. How small did your bladder suddenly become?"

Perrie keeps walking and yells over her shoulder. "Period."

I just nod my head, not realizing that we always have our periods at the same time, and focus on the movie again. A few minutes later, there is a soft knock on the front door.

"I'll get it," Perrie says as she walks back in. I hear the door open and soft mumbling between my lover and the person on the other side of the door.

After a few minutes of mumbling, I get curious and climb out of the fort to go look who's at the door. When I approach the door, Perrie looks back at me and whispers something to the person on the other side before closing the door.

"Who was that?"

"Nobody," Perrie answers way too quickly. I look at her suspiciously, but she just walks past me and settles back in our fort.

Part of me wants to open the door and try to see the person that was just here, but the other part wants to have faith in Perrie. It takes everything inside me to not dwell on Perrie's suspicious behaviour and just walk back to her, but I manage.

I try to sit as far away from the blonde as possible, but Perrie doesn't even notice because she is too engrossed in the movie. What the hell is happening to her.

When the movie is done, Perrie stands up and stumbles slightly before walking away without a word. I try to ignore it and go make two sandwiches for our lunch.

My sandwich is almost finished when the blonde finally returns to the kitchen. "I made you a sandwich," I mumble with my mouth full.

Perrie stumbles again a little and shakes her head. "Not hungry." Oh hell no, she is going to eat that fucking sandwich.

"Pez, come on. I have noticed that you're stumbling a lot today. Maybe you'll feel better if you eat? You're probably just a little low on sugar."

I try to make eye contact, but the blue eyes are hidden behind her heavy eyelids. "Pez, look at me."

The blonde stumbles back and grabs her head as she tries to find her balance again. I jump up to keep her up, but it's too late.

When I reach her, she is lying on the floor unconscious.
