Jade's POV:

Now I know why I didn't think about asking her on a date before. My hands are sweaty and shaking, my throat feels very dry, and my heart is racing inside my chest.

Perrie and I are sitting on the couch watching a movie. I mean, she is watching a movie. I'm just trying to find the courage to speak up.

I look at the blonde and open my mouth to speak but close it again as I have done more than twenty times in the last fifteen minutes.

"Jade, what's up? Your nervousness is making me nervous." The blonde looks at me worriedly.

For a second, I lose myself in the blue orbs in front of me, but I quickly compose myself and sit up straighter while still fumbling with my hands.

"Uhm, yeah. I was uhm... Iwaswonderingifyouwantedtogooutwithme." The words leave my lips so fast I'm pretty sure Perrie can't understand them.

"Come again?" Oh, how I wish she was saying this in different circumstances. If I wasn't this nervous, my mind would definitely find this question arousing.

I take a deep breath and look into Perrie's eyes scared. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me?" Perrie's expression changes to a confused one.

"Yeah, of course, Jadey. What do you want to do?" I look down at my hands and clear my throat before speaking up.

"I mean like on a date."

I can hear Perrie's breath hitch in her throat before there's an excruciating silence. When I can't take the silence anymore, I finally look up to Perrie to find her looking at me adoringly.

"You want to go on a date with me?" The blonde asks disbelievingly. I nod my head feeling very nervous under her gaze.

A big smile appears on the blonde's face and her arms wrap around my neck, pulling me on top of her. "Of course, I will go on a date with you, Jadey. God, you're so adorable for stressing out about that. You should know by now that I absolutely adore you. Always have, always will."

I gladly throw my arms around Perrie's waist while straddling her lap. I'm aware of the stupid smile on my face, but I really can't stop it right now.

She said yes.

My beautiful best friend wants to go on a date with me. Maybe our kisses did mean something to her too and she wasn't just looking for a release.

We stay in our current position for what feels like forever, but I really don't want to let go. "Be ready tomorrow at seven," I whisper in the blonde's ear and bury my face in her neck, taking in her scent.

Perrie's POV:

I check myself out in the mirror and start doubting again. I think I have changed my clothes at least ten times already in search of the perfect outfit.

Jade told me to wear casual clothes, which now seemed like an impossible task. My outfit was either too casual or either not casual enough.

Right now, I'm wearing a black cutout bodysuit with some dark blue jeans and a black choker. My outfit is pretty revealing, but I thought it was alright.

Or is it too much?

I sigh and run my hand through my hair frustrated. I look around my room, where clothes are spread out everywhere and I groan when I realize I'll have to clean that up again.

My eyes fall on some other possible outfits and I think about changing again when the doorbell rings.

Who could that be? Jade and I only get visits from Leigh, Holly or Danielle and they just don't bother to ring the bell.
