Chapter 11

Perrie's POV:

I'm walking home from the bar where I got a drink with Alex. Alex is a really nice guy I met a few weeks ago. We have gone out a few times and I felt like we were really getting on well.

The next part of my way home, I hate the most. I have to go through a few poorly lit alleys and I never really feel at ease. I pull out my phone to call Jade while I walk through the alley. This is our routine.

When we first realized we had to walk through a rough neighbourhood to get home, we decided we would always call each other while walking through it, so it was safer. Even when one of us went out to party, the other always picked up the phone. There's nothing more important than taking care of each other.

"Oh fuck, no." My phone is dead, really? I try to push every button to make it work again but to no avail. I pick up my pace to get out of here as quickly as possible.

There are weird noises all around me, but I try to focus only on getting home. My eyes stay locked on the ground, so I don't make eye contact with anyone. Suddenly, my eyes lock on a pair of feet standing right in front of me. I slowly look up and my eyes lock with light-blue eyes.

"Hey, beautiful. you know this is not a safe place to be walking around alone in the middle of the night, right?" The guy standing in front of me looks about my age and seems quite genuine.

"I know. Thanks for reminding me," I say as I try to walk past him. A strong hand wraps around my wrist and makes me turn around.

"Don't you want me to walk with you, so there aren't any creepy guys coming up to you?" He says, smiling sweetly.

I can't quite decipher the look in his eyes, but I figure everything is better than walking here alone. "Yeah, sure, thank you."

"So, tell me about yourself? What's your name, age, favourite colour..." We make small talk for a few minutes before he interrupts me when I try to take a right turn.

"I think it's better to take a left turn here." He says, still with his sweet smile in place.

"I'm pretty sure my house is this way. Come on." I walk away in the direction of my house, but he pulls me back. "Come on, baby, believe me."

"Can you please let go? I'm sure I need to go this way." Suddenly his smile fades and he looks at me angrily. "And I am sure you are going to come with me now, don't be rude."

All of a sudden, I am aware of how stupid I have been. I am so fucking naive. God, how could I think he was just being nice and bringing me home. Stupid girl.

I try to pull my arm away from his grasp, but he is way stronger than I am. "Come on, baby, don't resist it. I can see it in your eyes. You want me. I saw it the second you laid your eyes on me."

A smirk is now plastered on his face and all I can see in his eyes is lust. Fuck, I should have never come this way while my phone was dead. I start to panic when the man starts to pull me into an even darker and more abandoned alley.

He pushes me against a wall harshly and looks me up and down hungrily. I try to squirm away from under him, but he just pushes his body against mine.

"Oh, so you want to play it that way? Not going to cooperate, huh?" He pulls me away from the wall and smashes me into it again with his hands on my waist. His face comes closer to me and I feel myself panicking and my breaths become shorter.

"Don't hold back, baby. I know you want this." He breathes in my ear as he starts licking my earlobe and I feel a single tear roll down my cheek. His hands start roaming my body while he starts kissing down my neck. I know what is going to happen next and there is nothing I can do to fucking stop it.
