Chapter 9

JACK G'S POV

I stared at Bailee as she let herself take in the holding stall. Who would have ever thought that we would be here in jail. I mean 50% of the school thought I would but never Bailee. I don't think she's actually in trouble though. I think the officer took her because he knew her parents.

"What are you thinking about" Her soothing voice breaks my thought.

"Not much. Do you think this will look bad for colleges?" We may obnoxious teenagers but we are not nobody's. We all planning on going somewhere.

"I don't really know. I wouldn't think so since we arn't actually going to jail, Wait is this considered jail."

"Yes it's considered jail. We are in holding." I laughed a little

"You would know that much about this place."

"Wow that hurt really bad." I placed my hands on my heart and pretended to cry. She laughed at me and then stared at the wall. She was so beautiful. Not in a sexual way. We have been best friends since forever. Nash, Bailee, Maggie Ann, And the Jacks. We were a clan. Also Johnson had liked her since 7th grade when she started dating Jake. I kinda feel bad for him. The fact that he cares so much to stick around and watch her love others. I want to think they will work out in the end but I don't know anymore. Her and Shawn are really cute and have a connection I have never seen before.

"Do you think Shawn will stick around after that. I mean, most people don't stick around after that." She was sad, honestly I didn't know if he would stay but by the way he looked at her I have a feeling he would. I walked over to her and side hugged her pulling her closer to me.

"Bails, It's gonna be okay. You have that kid whipped. I don't know if he'll stay around but I have a feeling he will." A smile grew on her face.

"I think I love him Jack. I haven't loved anyone since Jake. I didn't want to love anyone since then until I met him." there was nothing to say other then a smile and a understanding nod. I kissed her forehead as Shawn and Her Dad approached the cell.

"Bailee, your parents are here. You may leave." Shawn gave her a hug and her Dad started talking to her. She walked back to me and sat down. Shawn sat down outside the cell.

"what are you guys doing."

"I'm staying with you until Laura or Molly come. Your not staying here alone. Shawn said he wanted to stay."

"Yeah dude, You don't need to be in this place alone. I don't like it, It's really creepy." I laughed it off and hugged Bailee.

"Thanks guys, I love having friends like you."

CLAIRES POV

I woke up in Shawn's arms. All I knew is that we were outside and it was raining.

"Sh shawn where are we going."

"Hey baby, Laura came to get Jack out. She took him back to his house. We are walking to my house right now." I nodded and he smiled at me

"I can walk to you know."

"Yeah but I would much rather carry you." he leaned down and kissed my forehead the rest of the walk was quite. I drifted back off to sleep 2 or 3 times, But I kept waking back up and seeing shawn just concentrating on the road in front of him. After just studying his face for awhile I feel asleep for good.

I woke up somewhere I unfamiliar. I was in a bedroom that I assumed was Shawn's considering his guitar was in the corner. I got up and walked to the bathroom in the hall, I had to pee really bad. After I washed my hands i opened the door and Shawn was standing right there. I screamed really loud not expecting him there.
