Goodbye To the Past,
Hello a New Year
Today is my birthday.
A whole new year alive on this planet.
A new age,
A new responsibility.
A new version of me.
What will I become?
We'll have to wait and see.

I have a love/hate relationship with birthdays.
I love the whole concept
But I hate that it's for me
I am not special the other 364 days, so why is it that today I am special.
There are only a few ages I guess that are important.

Double digits
Learn to drive
Become an adult
Drinking age
And well 100 is just a really good achievement...
Birthdays you get presents, the family gets together, lots of smiling should be an overall good time.
I'm greatful I have my family
And the one friend that never left
I am forever greatful for everything I have and that I have all the family that I do.
Because in the end your family are the only ones you need.
Even though I won't have many friends this birthday,
I think I'm okay with that...
