Just Dance

"No no no, like this!"

Chili Pepper shows you how to swing your knife correctly for the thousandth time. It was getting extremely repetitive and boring. Not to mention your arms were getting sore.

"Come on, no slacking! No pain, no gain!" Chili Pepper exclaims. You groan and swing your knife the way she does.

"Your not even trying!"

"You know what, I'm done for today..." You say and sit in the dirt of the abandoned park. You had been going for three hours, and to make things worse, Licorice somehow hid somewhere and nobody could find him, so you couldn't bring him for training today.

"If Red Velvet were here, he'd make you do fifty pushups."

"But he's not here, so-" You stick you tongue out at Chili Pepper.

"Yeah, yeah... So what do we do now?" She asks, sitting on the ground with  you.

"I am going to go home to eat Oreos and watch anime until I either puke or fall asleep." You get up off the ground and start walking to your car. Chili Pepper follows and gets in the passenger seat. 

A bit later, when you pull into your driveway, you see someone standing outside your home. It was Raspberry Cookie in her human form.

"Aww, not miss goody two shoes!" Chili Pepper complains. You just laugh at get out of the car.

"Hi, Raspberry." You greet.

"Good evening, (Y/N). Chili Pepper." She nods to the both of you. Chili Pepper only gives a dismissive wave of her hand. "I came to join you for training today, but when I got here you two were already gone. Though, I am curious on your progress, (Y/N). How is it all going?"

"Painful and boring." You say.

"This one doesn't know how to even handle a knife." Chili Pepper says, pointing at you with her thumb. You punch her in the shoulder and she laughs. Raspberry chuckles as well.

The three of you walk inside and you grab the Oreos and turn on the tv. You turn on your favorite anime series and begin watching.

"So your really just gonna sit there?" Chili Pepper asks.

"Yup. Feel free to do whatever, but don't steal my shit." You say, stuffing an Oreo into your mouth.

Raspberry and Chili Pepper start looking around your home for anything interesting. Raspberry spots an odd looking box under your tv.

"(Y/N), what is this?"

You take your eyes off the tv lazily before answering. "Oh, that's my Xbox. It plays games." You then turn back to your show.

Chili Pepper's interest in the Xbox is also peeked. The two start going though the various games you have.

"What is 'Just Dance?'" Raspberry asks.

"A dancing game." You say, mid chew on an Oreo.

"Can we play?" Chili Pepper asks.

"Uh... I dunno. I kinda feel like being lazy." 

"That's why you built like those beans that come in a can." Chili Pepper says placing her hands on her hips.

"Alright, that there was a violation, and I am totally kicking your ass at Just Dance." You say, getting off the couch and powering up the Xbox.

You load up Just Dance and clear the area around you so you and the cookies would have enough room to dance and move around without trouble. You boot up the game and begin choosing a song.

You decided to be evil for a moment and choose a hard song to get revenge on Chili Pepper. Raspberry didn't deserve what you were about to put them through, but hey, casualties of war.

So you get in the middle of Chili Pepper and Raspberry.

"You two ready?"

"Yep!" Chili Pepper says confidently.

"I've never been much of a dancer, but I'll give it my all." Raspberry replies.

"Alrighty then. May the lord have mercy on your souls."

Raspberry and Chili Pepper give each other odd looks before shrug and getting in their starting positions as the dance starts.

Before long, not even halfway through the song, Raspberry and Chili Pepper were sweating and having trouble keeping up with the moves on the screen. Of course, you were sweating too, but you had playing this song many times so muscles memory kicked in and have you the upper hand.

When the song finally ends Chili Pepper and Raspberry are both on one knee and breathing heavily. You had one, of course, and the two could hardly get one star each.

"How come you can't swing a knife, but you can keep up with that?" Chili Pepper asks getting up.

"I too am curious as to why your not on the floor with us, (Y/N)." Raspberry says.

"Practice." You replied with a shrug. Chili Pepper scoffs.

"If only you had this attitude during training."

You laugh. Revenge was oh so sweet.

Heyo everyone! I'm back and now have internet again! Hooray!

Sorry again that this isn't the Halloween special and that this one is kind of shorter than the others. I'm just getting back into the swing of things, so I decided to finish this draft. I'll try to get the Halloween special out next.

Fun fact: I actually got megastar rank on this dance. It was not easy.

Being without internet for a week has not been fun. Like I couldn't even open most of my Google docs to write 😭
