Pony's POV *don't mind the video*
The gang came over to eat dinner with us they usually did a lot. "Hey Pony" Steve greeted me, it's really surprising to be greeted by Steve without him insulting you. We sat down Steve looked at Two-Bit then at me "WHAT" I yelled so loud Johnny nearly broke through the ceiling man he's so jumpy. "Ponyboy, I will be busy tomorrow I have plans with Carolynn" "that's perfect I.....have..plans" I hesitated MAN JEEZ I could've just crashed myself. "Yeah right with who" Two-Bit joked "oh yeah nobody" Steve joined in "no Lilly, you dumb bunnies" Soda yelled "PONY'S GOT A GIRLFRIEND" they just kept chanting over and over. "Oh yeah, at least I don't have more than 10!! Ex girlfriends or I don't get cheated on or have a crappy girlfriend" as I called them out they all put their heads down. They then stopped for a second then teased Darry, "ummmm Darry, can I talk to you?" "Sure Ponyboy" I lead him onto the front porch "I'm sorry for asking Paul for advice instead of you I'm just...so..new...to-" "I get it kid" he said then patted me on my back. "How come they always pick on you and Me?" I asked "because they've never felt love like we have" we went back inside, the gang stopped what they were doing and stared at us. "WHAT IS THERE TO LOOK AT!?" Darry yelled as loud as he could "nothing.nothing at all" Two-Bit responded with. I woke up the next morning and I was ready, today was the day I would ask the question. So I put on another flannel and gel-ed by hair back, I don't like Lilly...I LOVE HER. I had everything planned, I would first hang out with her and do fun cute stuff then I would take her to a field full of sunflowers also watch the sunset most importantly ask her to me my greaser girl. Last but not least I would have Dally park his car at the drive-in and Lilly and I would watch the movie together, I called Lilly.
Lilly's POV
The phone was ringing while I was getting ready to go to the Curtis's to see Pony, I answered the phone it turned out it was Pony. "Hi Pony" "hey Lil" "when do you want me to come over?" "Whenever" "okay see you in a bit Pony." "Bye" he shot out "bye" I ran down the stairs "hey you going to the Curtis's?" Paul asked "yeah wanna come" "sure" he said chasing after me. "Wait for me" Paul yelled, we got to the Curtis's and Pony was waiting for me on the front porch. "Hey" "hi, you look nice" "oh thanks" at this point I didn't really care what I wore I just wanted to see Pony. "Mickeys on" "ooooooh okay" we sat down and watched Mickey with Two-Bit. "Hey Two-Bit how come you like this show so much?" "I like cartoons...I guess, hey why are you asking hard questions." At one point I kinda noticed Pony staring at me and then him and Two-Bit made eye contact and winked, did I miss an episode or something? I got there at 8 and at 9:30 Pony asked me if I wanted to go on a walk I said yes of course, we actually ended up having fun running around town and getting ice cream we had fun for 3 HOURS!!! I love Pony... We went back to my house to eat lunch we had grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup and made heart shaped cookies. I taught Pony how to make cookies step by step, I should just get used to cooking....that's probably where I'll spend the most of my days...in the kitchen. It really brought me down to think about my future, I wanted to be a welder not a cook. Pony and I hung out for a bit in my room,he saw my diary and brought up the incident with Steve and my diary he tried not to laugh when I smacked Steve. It was kinda funny I will admit, Pony went home a little while later "bye Pony" "bye Lil" he said then pulled me into a hug.
Pony's POV
Yesss everything is going just as planned, I felt pretty fervent with the gangs help. Yup, the gang was in on my plans and help me out to not ruin this special day with Lilly. Dally's idea was that Lilly and I should go for a walk and have fun around town ,he also said that we should make some trouble. Darry thought that we should make some cookies and a homemade lunch. Steve's idea was just brilliant and kinda romantic he said that I should sit in a car with Lilly at the drive-in just me and her. Soda mentioned cuddling with her and relaxing her, Johnny recommend that if Lilly got cold I would step up and be a gentleman and give her my jacket. Last but not least Two-Bit came up with watching a cartoon movie, I came up with the sunflower field idea. I was super surprised that the gang would even want to help me in the first place, our day so far was amazing we watched Mickey, I just really hope Lilly didn't catch me admiring her beauty also Two-Bit winked at me and I winked back. We ate lunch Man, I know it's just grilled cheese but Lilly can cook we also made really good cookies. I felt bad for Lilly, she didn't really have a choice to become a teacher or an accountant or even a pilot, she would inherit being a cook or a maid from her generation.
Paul's quick POV
Today my sister wouldn't be such a little girl anymore she'd moved on to boys and makeup. I knew Pony's plans with Lilly, she'd grown up already it felt like yesterday I was just holding her for the first time when she was a baby. Man, it was so hard to stomach now then back when she was little, like when we used to play in the mud and camp out in each other's rooms, oh I miss these times the most. I wanted the best for my sister in a man so I told Pony some advice about Lilly and some important things about her that only her brother would know. At 6:45 IN THE MORNING I called the Curtis house and Darry answered, I knew they were all awake so I thought it would be a relevant time to call. "Hello?" "Hi Darry" "oh hey Paul," he seemed confused why I called him "could I talk to Pony for a minute?" "Sure, PONY PHONE" I heard him yell. "Hey Pony" "uh hi Paul" "so a little advice about you and Lilly today.."
