Lilly's POV
When we arrived home Mom and Dad made my favorite meal of all time, SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS!!!! Paul also enjoyed it. After I devoured my food, Paul told me to close my eyes. "Okay there closed." I was kinda nervous. You gonna think I'm crazy but..I couldn't accept anymore gifts. All this attention was to much. "Open." I opened my eyes to find a small black box resting in my hand. I opened the box and nearly cried... it was a necklace with a locket. On 1 side it was all of us as a family then on the other it was just Paul. "Paul...I love this so much" I said staring at the locket in my hands. I immediately put it on, Dad got me a photo of him holding me when I was just a baby. Mom also gave me some of her designed clothes. "I have the best family in the entire world." I got up and gave each 1 of them a hug.
Pony's POV
The ring I gave Lilly was a ring mom used to wear a lot, mom loved jewelry and dad loved watches. Darry wears 1 of his old watches and Soda wears his graduate ring he got in high school. Soda really reminds of mom smart,funny, and hopeful. Darry reminds me more dad tall,smart, and has a ton of willpower. I miss mom and dad so much and I know Darry and Soda are really driven into grief sometimes too. Darry isn't that happy anymore, today he was happy and smiling again. I hadn't seen him like that in months it really drove me nuts to see him like that. Lilly seemed to like the ring I gave her, she put it on in an instant. Man, I really love her.
Lilly's POV
The rest of the week went by in a flash today was Friday. Pony walked me to school we held hands and talked about the sunset. As soon as my eye balls could catch Randy, I told Pony I would be right back. I ran off before he could ask any questions. I went up to Randy "are you done being buddy buddy with Bob?" I was afraid Pony would get really suspicious and come looking for me. Sure enough I felt someone's hand creep up on my shoulder "Pony, I was just asking Randy a question." I tried to ensure Pony......except it wasn't Pony..... "Oh we're you now?" I heard a familiar voice utter. I turned around and nearly stopped breathing... "So YOUR the 1 who got me in trouble?" "BOB KNOCK IT OFF!!" Randy said with his teeth clenched. Why was he so mad I thought? Bob threw a punch but Randy had other ideas instead of get hit....Randy returned Bob's punch and knocked Bob out. "Oh uh thanks" "Bob was askin' for it ummmm Lilly-." Pony was yelling in the distance and pushing people out of the way. "LILLY ARE YOU OKAY? ARE YOU HURT?" Pony screamed and put his hand on my cheek. "Yeah I'm fine-." I was interrupted when Pony kissed me, Randy was just watching us. Pony pulled away, he was blushing really badly. Pony seemed really cute at that moment then really tense the next. "Are you okay?" I asked really concerned. He put his arm around me and we walked away "yep I'm fine" he said really sarcastically. The bell rang, I was in math when I passed a note to Johnny and I wrote 'is Pony mad at me?' Johnny made eye contact with me and wrote his answer. He passed the note to the person behind him and and so on, he passed the long way so we weren't the 1s caught with the note. I got the note back, 'No,he's not mad you.' But I still wasn't convinced enough. When the class ended I accidentally left the note on MY DESK... I started to panic.
