Lilly's POV
As soon as I could put the thought of Ponyboy back in my head, I got dressed and made sure I wore extra mascara to be dramatic. I headed to the Curtis house, every Saturday it was a full house, so it looks like I'm putting on a show for everyone today. I knocked on the door. Soda answered "hi Lilly" "hi is Ponyboy here?" "We all are." "Oh great, just what I needed." I said sarcastically. "Hey babe." Ponyboy came up behind Soda and pushed him away. He kissed me "hey what's wrong?" "I need to talk to you." I came inside the house and the whole gang stopped what they were doing dead in their tracks. "Alright tell me." I could tell Pony was eager to get our conversation started and he tried to grab me by the hand. "NO. If there's something you gotta share with the class too." Steve remarked. "YOU KNOW WHAT? FINE" "Woah woah okay chill." Two-Bit said to me a little nervous. I sat down, everyone in the room was paying attention to what's going to happen next.. "Ponyboy...Who's Kassie Dunlop?" Everyone went silent. "Kassie who?" "DON'T PLAY DUMB WITH ME!!" I was so angry I must've of made an really ugly face. "Lilly I don't even know a Kassie- oh wait I do." "I can't believe you, what are you doing this to me?" I started to sob. "OH YEAH, YOUR 1 TO TALK..YOU LET JOHHNY SLEEP IN YOUR BEDROOM!!" I was about to scream a lung at him. Johnny broke in. "Yeah and at least I didn't kiss her!!" "Johnny? What the hell!" "WHAT!??!" I sobbed even harder "HOW COULD YOU??" Everyone's jaws were dropped. "I ACTUALLY THOUGHT YOU CARED ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP!" "Lilly I do." "Ponyboy Micheal Curtis....I HATE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!!" I yelled and got ready to slap him but I didn't. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?" Everyone's jaws were still dropped, their eyes glued on me and Ponyboy. "I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN!!" I was about to bust the damn door open when Dally came up to me and said "He didn't mean to." "Oh yeah isn't that what'd you say to Sylvia?" I gave him 1 last look and I scramed out the door and slammed it too.
Johnny's POV
I want myself up forever...I can't believe the ruckus I just caused, I tore Lilly and Ponyboy apart....Yup that was all me. It was Bob who started it....well one day I was walking around the block. This blue Mustang kept circling me. "HEY GREASER!!" 1 of the guys shouted at me like I was a zoo animal. No matter how much I tried..I could not AVOID them. The car came to a brief stop and I hesitated and stopped too. I thought for a second and then took off running as fast as I possibly could. I ran all the way to the park and never looked back. I heard the Mustang rev and at that moment I knew...What was next...I sat waiting for my fate to hit me so hard I would fall down and not get up like a tidal wave. "Hey you guys are out of your territory..you better watch it." I seethed at them. "Listen kid, we do this the hard way or the easy way..YOUR PICK!" "What do you want?" I managed to speak. I was still mortified..this guy was the guy that brutally beat me almost to death. "A favor." Bob said and there was a pause. "What favor?" I was shaking. "Because that little RAT Lilly ratted on me, it's her time to hurt." I stopped breathing. Bob also threatened to hurt Lilly not just physically but mentally. "You need to sabotage Lilly's and Ponyboy's relationship." He came up with a plan and the only choice I had was to abide under it. In order to protect Lilly I had to hurt her, WHY. I was also a part in the threat too. "SO ARE YOU IN?" I was put into pure shock when Bob wasn't drunk this time. Randy wasn't here either. I did what I had to do to protect myself and Lilly..so I nodded and felt like eloping to Mexico. I didn't tell anyone about this. Last night when I comforted Lilly, that was the 1 and only best time in my life. This whole operation had 1 benefit I could get back at Ponyboy for not spending as much time with me as he does with Lilly. Wait......am I doing this because I'm JELOUS???????? I suddenly felt a heavy weight in my brain. As all my stress came pushing down on me. I had to think for a very long time.
Lilly's POV
I ran all the way home and while I well, I shouldn't say I ran, I just stomped the whole way home. I pounded open the front door slammed it and charged up the stairs. I ran into my bedroom slammed the door AGAIN and threw myself on my bed. I was so torn apart and so very broken I think I went loco. Why? WHy? WHY? Why would he just lie to me? I loved him so much and instead of him loving me back he cheats on me with some stupid B****. I wanted instant revenge and I wished to smack him across the face so hard he fell. There was a sudden knock on my door. "Lilly?" She opened the door and sat on my bed and put her hand on my back and softly rubbed it. "Oh honey what's going on?" "Ponyboy." I cried so hard it grew quieter. I sat up quickly and shoved myself into her arms crying on her shoulder. "What did he do?" "He——CHEATED ON ME!!" "I'm sorry honey." After awhile I calmed down and remained calm. "Why would he do this to me?" "There must some reason honey." Some reason hmmmm, I didn't get to finish my thought. Mom left so I could calm down and relax. I opened the book Johnny and Cherry gave me, all of the pictures of Ponyboy and I...I sworn I almost started bawling again when I saw them. "Uhh Lilly?" Paul's voice called as he opened my door. "Uhh hey there buddy." Hey said trying to soothe me. "Mom told me about Ponyboy." "Paul wanna do a simple task with me real quick." "Uh sure." He sounded nervous. I ripped out all the pictures of Ponyboy and lead Paul by the wrist down the stairs. Mom and dad looked at us in concern. "Get a match." I said with a violent tone in my voice. He got a match box with out any hesitation he followed me outside. Mom and dad came to watch the horror about to strike them. "Light it." Once again Paul did what he was told and he lit the match. I had the photos and I set them on the grass. "Match" Paul handed me the lit match and I dropped it on the photos and we all watched them burn. "Hasta Le vista, B****." I said and mom looked at me shocked that I swore. "Sorry I didn't mean to freak y'all out. I just really needed to do that." Paul high five and shook my hand. At that moment I knew he had the same spirit as me. Mom and still looked at me in shock then they laughed which got Paul and I laughing. "Wow I've never seen anyone do that before." Dad mentioned. I went and dialed Cherry. "Cherry guess what!" "What?" "Ponyboy f*cking cheated on me." I said with rage and rage excitement. "THAT B*TCH WANNA MESS WITH MY COUSIN..HE CAN MESS WITH ME INSTEAD!!!! I'll be over in 10." She slammed the phone so hard my eardrums almost popped. Man, do I love Cherry, she's that kinda person you don't wanna mess with. I felt the rage rushing all over me..I FELT SO MUCH REVENGE... I remembered it's not just Ponyboy it's KASSIE DUNLOP.... I could sense Cherry was here and sure enough she was there. I lead her to the remains of the photos. "Wow.." "KASSIE DUNLOP ruined this for me so now she's GONNA PAY!!!!!!!"
