Lilly's POV
"Hey that's my leather jacket" Two-Bit said a little tweaked off "do you want it?" I asked raising my eyebrows "NO.....actually YES, YES I DO" "okay fine" I said a little disappointed, the jacket was really comfy. He inspected it after I gave it to him, he was making a weird face "Two-Bit, stop being weird" Darry said weirded out. What happened next was just messed up.... Two-Bit leaned to smell my neck "hey look at the freak" Dally said with a freaked out sound in his voice and everyone sat in silence, [the faces they were making refers the the picture of Shrek at the top of the page]. "OKAY WHAT THE HELL" I yelled "my jacket smells like you now" he said in a clam and soft voice "is that bad" I said with an offended look on my face. Monday, in 2 days I'll finally be 15. I woke up and got ready for school, I wore a sweater it was cold today. It had been officially 2 days since Pony and I have been dating, all I can think about was when he kissed me, it was wonderful. I love him so much. I was about to leave my house when the doorbell rang, I answered it "oh hey Pone" "hey Lil, do you want to walk to school with me?" "Of course I do" on our way to school Pony's hands interlocked with mine, Randy pulled his car up to us "hey Lilly can I talk to you later?" "Uhhhh sure" "okay thanks, bye" "bye" Pony looked at me and said "what the hell was that about?" He started to rage I could tell by the tone in his voice, "I don't know, I wouldn't fret about it" we finally got to school. Johnny came over and talked to us, we ended up talking about cars "Hey Lilly can I talk to you?" Cherry asked she was almost crying " Pony, I'll be right back" I said as I followed her to a less crowded area "what's going on?" "It's Bob..." Cherry was now in tears "what do you mean. "Bob....he....punched.....me" my face and got all hot then cold then hot again "HE WHAT!!" "I tried calling you....but Paul answered...telling me you went....on a date" "Cherry......" I tried to say but I let out a that cry when you release a lot of air. "It's all my fault" I let out another airy cry "it's all my fault I wasn't home...if I only could've answered" I started crying harder, the only reading I was crying was because it's all my fault this even happened. "It's not your fault " "YES IT IS" I barked and covered my face with my palms she saw how hurt I was and pulled me close into a hug. Before the bell even rang Cherry and I marched into the school and straight into the principals office. "Mrs. Luckey, can I talk to you?" "Sure what's up Lilly?" I told her everything and Cherry was sent to the nurses office and I went to my class, when I walked in everybody looked at me weirdly even Pony, "sorry I'm late" "Mrs. Luckey told me, we're doing partner work you can get first pick" I walked towards Pony "I'm gonna work with Ponyboy." "Okay grab the decimal worksheet" I grabbed the sheet and went into the hall with Pony, "hey are you okay" he said putting his hand on my cheek "not really" I said about to break into tears again, I leaned my head on his shoulder "hey hey it's okay babe" he said and pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead.
Johnny's POV
Pony and Lilly were together, I have always liked Lilly but never ever would breath a word to anyone anyways. Today I felt really bad for Cherry, today was just a wooden nickel day for her. Cherry is a real pleasure to be around, she's just like Lilly just a little different. Don't tell anyone but..I kinda.. like Cherry and I feel we belong together..I know she doesn't feel the same way. All hell broke loose when Randy and Bob came over to our table, "what do you want now" I managed to yell. "I need to talk to Cherry" "sorry PAL!!!! I THINK YOU HAVE DONE ENOUGH DAMAGE!!" And with that I stood up and shoved him down he fell like a weakling.
