True to Jade's word, Tori's dreams were fueled. So fueled, in fact, that the brunette couldn't find it in her to hold eye contact with the goth for more than a few seconds in school; her cheeks almost instantaneously reddening when she caught a glimpse of Jade's smile. The one smile she reserved for her alone.

She had told herself multiple times to suck it up because they were just dreams but oh, the things that happened  in those dreams made tingles run down her spine just thinking about them.

She felt like she couldn't see Jade the same way again. As guilty and a little grossed out as she felt about the things her mind had conjured up, she secretly never wanted those dreams to end. Who would have thought that three mere seconds of cheek action would get her down this bad?

She attempted to avoid Jade for as long as she could but to no avail. Three days after the ignoring had begun, Jade cornered the brunette at her locker, arms folded and an eyebrow raised.

"Alright, what's going on?"

Tori shrugged, keeping her eyes on the books she was pulling out painfully slow from her locker.

"What do you mean?"

"C'mon Vega. You've been ignoring me all week."

Tori snickered. "It's been three days, West."

Jade rolled her eyes, tapping her boots on the floor impatiently and waiting for Tori to look at her but it seemed like Tori was determined to look anywhere else. Groaning in frustration, Jade reached forward and grabbed Tori's chin to face her.

In that one moment as Jade pulled Tori's face, the brunette inhaled sharply as her eyes were forced to lock with Jade's. The dark-haired girl smirked and stepped a little closer, watching how dazed Tori was as she stared.

"See? Now that wasn't so hard, was it?," Jade whispered, as she heard Tori's breathing grow faster.

She leaned in the slightest bit as she watched Tori wet her lips with her tongue, eyes darting back and forth between her own eyes and lips. It was only when she heard a loud cough that she realized where they were and let go of Tori. She looked around and saw most of the people in the halls and atop the staircases frozen and staring at them.

"What the hell are you guys looking at?"

And with that one yell, everything resumed as if nothing ever happened and students started moving and walking and talking again. Jade glanced at Tori who was still transfixed on her and shook her a little right as the bell rang.

"Sikowitz."

Tori shook herself a little and nodded slowly. "You go on, I'll catch up."

Jade nodded somewhat reluctantly and started walking ahead. Tori shut her locker and leaned against it, eyes shut and sighing deeply as she heard the dying sounds of Jade's boots across the floor. She was going to have to deal with whatever she was thinking and feeling and dreaming soon. But not right now.

She stepped into class and had to stop herself from groaning. The chairs in the classroom had been replaced by multiple mattresses. There were three people each on a mattress and Tori looked around to see if there was anyone who needed an extra person for their mattress until her eyes fell on Jade. She was the only person on her mattress.

Sikowitz must have noticed her walk in because he walked up to her and began ushering her into the crowd. She prayed that someone had an open spot for her on their mattress but of course, the only person with an empty mattress was Jade. The raven-haired girl caught her eye and smiled lightly, patting the space next to her.
