"Is it working now?"
"Nearly!"
"I need to pee!"
Tori crossed her legs in pain on the stage. Sinjin was doing a sound check and Tori had drank a little too much soda earlier. The process was taking a little longer than usual and Tori needed to use the bathroom. She was hopping in place, trying her hardest to focus on everything but her bladder.
"Alright we're-," but Sinjin didn't get to finish his sentence because Tori had already dropped the mic and taken off running to the bathroom.
She was washing her hands at the sink, relieved, when the door opened and Cat walked in.
"Oh, hey Tori. I like your outfit," said the redhead.
Tori smiled. It was mandatory for all the students coming to the slumber party to where pajamas and Tori had worn her favourite set which was light pink with strawberries all over them. She had set up her sleeping bag next to Jade, Cat, Beck, Robbie and Andre and she was super pumped for her performance later.
"Thanks."
They flashed each other smiles before Tori walked out and headed to where all the sleeping bags were. Beck and Robbie were talking quietly, sodas in hand and Rex laying in the sleeping bag with a sleeping mask over his eyes. She walked over and sat on the sleeping bag next to Beck.
"Hey, guys," she said and they turned to her.
"Quick question, if you couldn't chew for the rest of your life, would you let someone baby bird you or just attach a tube to your stomach and never taste food again?"
"Baby bird me?," Tori looked on in confusion.
"You know, when the mother bird chews the food up for her children and-"
"OKAY! I don't need to know anymore!"
"Tori! We're starting in 10!," came a voice from behind Tori and she turned around to see Jade there in her all black ensemble.
"Coming!"
She said goodbye to the guys and hurried off with Jade. They got to the little platform stage thing where the band was, waiting for Anthony to introduce them.
"You ready?," the brunette asked.
Jade nodded, tucking a strand of stray hair behind her ear. She glanced at Tori and rolled her eyes at her choice of clothes.
"You're wearing that ?"
"I could ask you the same thing."
"Oh please, at least black is a neutral colour."
"And pink is a pretty one."
Jade couldn't help but grin a little as she looked at Tori and how the sleeves of her top bunched up around her wrists. She looked adorable.
"You look cute."
Tori looked at Jade, cheeks reddening embarrassingly.
"Thanks."
They locked eyes for a second before Anthony sauntered past them and they stopped to listen to his cue.
"Good evening Hollywood Arts!"
His greeting was responded by tumultuous applause and screaming.
"Alright, alright, settle down. Now, I'm sure you guys are excited for the activities we have planned out for you. But first, to kick off this whole party, let's welcome Jade West and Tori Vega to the stage!"
