Now, did she have too much to drink? Did someone spike the punch bowl again? Or did Tori really find herself staring across the room at Jade with a shit-eating grin on her face? She was actually smiling really hard, she could feel the strain in her cheeks.

They were at the party in Sikowitz's house after doing the play. Tori was just leaning against the wall in a corner, red plastic cup in hand and stroking her Walter Swain moustache, smiling absentmindedly at the raven-haired girl with the blonde wig on.

She thought back to the play they had performed earlier that night and butterflies fluttered around inside her tummy. There was a moment in the play where Tori felt the rest of the audience and actors fall away and it was only her and Jade, the spotlight blinding.

It was the moment Jade reached a hand over, standing only a few inches away from Tori as she brushed the back of her fingers across Tori's face when she told Tori she loved her.

Wait... no.

When Nancy told Walter Swain she loved him. Tori remembered stopping for a second before the pair were supposed to move in for a hug to think: should I kiss her?

There were so many encouraging thoughts in her head like the fact that they wanted to play a believable married couple and it was only a small, insignificant part of her (she told herself) that wanted to kiss Jade again, even though the first time was merely a peck before going to sleep.

"Did Robbie hit you in the face with his Pear Pad again?," she suddenly heard and snapped out of her trance.

She turned to see Andre standing beside her, an eyebrow raised as he studied the peculiar look on her face.

"Yeah... he did... ," she trailed off.

"You guys did great tonight," said Andre as he wrapped an arm around her in a one-armed embrace.

She smiled at him and took a sip from her cup. She continued staring at Jade, smiling to herself whenever she caught the raven-haired girl smiling, too, which happened to be a rare phenomenon.

Soon after, Robbie and Cat joined the pair and the four of them were drinking punch and listening to Cat ask her ridiculously amusing questions. However, it got boring after a while so Tori decided to get some chips from the little kitchen island.

She was about to grab the bowl when she felt an arm around her waist. She turned and found herself face to face with Jade. Her eyes widened and her torso tightened beneath the feeling of Jade's slender arm.

"There my husband is," she heard Jade say, smirking and dragging Tori into the crowd.

"Sinjin!," Jade shrieked. "Pictures!"

Having knocked over three people's cups as he passed, Sinjin aimed his camera at them, Jade posing in flirtatious irony with her blonde hair as Tori stood awkwardly next to her, hands behind her back.

A few seconds passed before Jade rolled her eyes and looked at Tori.

"Come on Vega, we're married. Act like it."

Tori just smiled sheepishly in return and Jade sighed before reaching out for Tori's hand and putting it on her waist. She in turn put an arm around Tori's neck and smiled for the pictures. Tori made herself comfortable, pulling Jade in closer for the pictures until the raven-haired girl looked at her with an eyebrow raised, glancing down at Tori's travelling hand.

"Easy there, astronaut .If you want me to take you to the moon just say so," she whispered and Tori flushed bright red while Jade carried on posing as if nothing happened.

When the photo session was over, Tori pulled away from Jade and retreated to a spot on the sofa to clear her head. Her wig was starting to itch and get hot so she pulled it off and shook her dark brown locks over her shoulder before ripping her moustache off.
