⚠ CW: Mention of underage drinking ⚠
"Tori, open this door right now!"
Tori lay under the covers, a pillow pressed over her ears to drown out Trina's screaming and banging. She hadn't moved for two days and it was slowly verging into day three. Trina couldn't take it. She needed to steal a shirt from Tori's room and she didn't like seeing her sister so sad.
"Go away!"
Tori had no intention of opening her room door for anyone. It was Monday afternoon, three days after the whole accidental kiss fiasco with Jade. Right after the kiss, Jade had driven Tori home without a word. The brunette had desperately tried getting a hold of Jade since that night but the girl seemed to have forgotten she existed.
Tori knew it was because she accidentally kissed Jade and that now Jade probably thought she was weird so she was keeping her distance. She tried her hardest to explain that it was nothing but an accident and she never meant to offend Jade or anything. Tori couldn't count the number of texts and voicemails she left but alas, it was of no use.
So Tori decided that she wasn't going to let herself enjoy spring break after messing up so bad. She had her water bottles and connecting bathroom so she there was no need for her to leave her room unless it was for food.
She figured her mom realized she wasn't doing all that well because she heard three precise knocks every time it was lunch or dinner and she would open her door to see a plate of food. She ate and put the plate back before going back to sulk in bed.
She had planned to do this the whole of spring break but Trina was interfering with her plans.
"Tori Vega you open this stinking door RIGHT NO- WOAH!"
The yell was followed by a loud crashing noise and Tori threw the covers off herself to see Trina standing on her bedroom door - or what was left of it - seeing that she had kicked it clean off the frame. Her eyes widened and she pulled the covers back up to her chin.
Trina marched over and yanked it off of her.
"Why are you being so moody? Mom's making me do all your chores!"
Tori merely scowled at Trina and turned over. Trina groaned in frustration and turned Tori back over.
"What's wrong? Is it a boy?"
Tori just stared at her older sister in silence. Trina caught her gaze and looked into her eyes, searching for an answer desperately until something happened and Trina calmed down considerably. She sighed a little and sat down next to her sister on her bed and rubbed her arm.
"Beck, Andre, Robbie and Cat came over yesterday. Mom told them that you weren't feeling well. You should call them."
Tori turned over again.
"I don't wanna see anyone."
Trina squeezed Tori's arm a little.
"That's fine. But they're your friends, they're probably worried about you. Just give them a call to let them know you're alright, okay?"
Trina sat by Tori's bed for a few seconds before getting up and crossing over the door. Tori sat up and stared out at the lighted hallway where her door was. She sighed and pulled her phone out of her bedside table drawer.
She turned it on and saw a few missed calls each from the boys and some from Cat. Nothing from Jade. That fact on its own should have shut Tori back down but she pulled up Andre's phone number and called him.
"Hey! I was wondering when you were gonna hit me up."
"Yeah, sorry. I've been a little... out of it."
