Chapter 19: Day 10 (part 1): Marvel Games Coverage: Episode 4:
It’s been a rough couple of days!
And that’s putting it mildly. The first of the heroes has finally kicked the bucket, four days before the last day of the Marvel Games.
Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America. May he rest in peace, I hope he’s signing Phil Coulson’s collectors cards up in heaven right now –because God knows that those two are the best two candidates for heaven.
To be honest, I did not see this coming!
I know what you mean.
I honestly thought Johnny or Tony would be the first heroes to go, but Steve? No! I’m just glad that none of the Avengers ended up killing him. I don’t think that would have gone down well at all with anyone.
Steve Rogers, you will be dearly missed.
But, still on the topic of the Super Soldier’s death –what about that send off? Estelle, you’ve managed to surprise me at every single turn of this year’s Games, which has never happened before. I can safely say, that this year, is a year for Marvel Games record breaking –only four more days, what will she do next?
First, she teams up with a hero –Johnny Storm, no less, and before the Games even begin! Next thing you know, she leaves her safe hiding place to give Johnny his suit and ends up staying with him and his ally, Captain America, and then she ditches them for Tony and Bruce!
She’s become the longest lasting Female Tribute and Civilian Tribute in Marvel Games history. At this point, if she keeps springing things on us like this, I strongly believe that she could win this –or at least be a final three contender!
I disagree, I believe she might be the next to go. She can’t have that many tricks up her sleeve, and with that bad arm, infection could set in, even with it bandaged up. At this point, she is the only tribute not to have used any of her Sponsors for help, and in some ways, that’s a strengthening move, saving up points and money for bad circumstances, but in other ways it’s weakening. She doesn’t have the extra leg up that some of the other tributes do.
Well, it seems like we’re going to have to agree to disagree on this one –only time will tell!
But for now, sit back and watch as the rest of the world makes up their mind about Estelle Rosalie Arrowsmith.
