As the aftermath of day 3 is finally revealed clearer than ever, the tributes have gone into hiding once again. With only two out of the five Civilian Tributes left, it’s becoming abundantly clear that this year’s Games are not at all what we were expecting.

Lenora Roberts, the seventeen year old blonde from Chicago, Illinois and Ryan Hames, the eighteen year old mediocre tribute who captured our hearts from Richmond, Virginia were the second and third tributes to die in the arena.

But of course, that isn’t the biggest news that broke as they died. With Lenora out of the way, this makes Estelle Arrowsmith the longest lasting female civilian tribute in Marvel Games history. I’m particularly impressed, I don’t know about you.

I’m curious as to whether a standoff will occur between Jackson Stiles and Arrowsmith, it’s no secret they don’t get along, but will they run into each other in the arena? It seems he is now the only lone tribute in the arena at the moment, with Estelle having joined the Captain America-Human Torch alliance and the Hulk and Iron Man having had each other’s backs since the beginning.

The alliances are one thing, what I want to know is what possessed Estelle to make that daring move? To come out of hiding and give the Human Torch his suit so he could use his powers in the arena when he could have easily turned on her and ended her Games experience right then and there. Putting him in her debt is one thing, but I wonder –is there a budding relationship within the arena?

It wouldn’t be the first time; remember Betty Ross and the Hulk during last year’s Games? That was interesting. Perhaps we’ll see something like that again.

Possibly, but is it strategy? If it is that would be a very good strategic point on Arrowsmith’s behalf.

Well, it seems that today was one of those days where we walk away with more questions than answers, but I’m sure we’ll straighten everything out tomorrow as day 4 dawns on the tributes in the arena. Who knows what surprises we’ll have in stall? But for now, my bets are placed firmly with Steve, Johnny and Estelle.
