I can't believe my ears. Tris left me,she's gone. As much as I dont wanna believe it, it's true.Suddenly, Caleb starts laughing.Anger seeps through me. How dare he?! Moreover, she's his sister,blood-related sister.How can he be like this?
"What's so funny?!" I yell at him, agitated and genuinely confused.Really, why is he laughing?
"Don't worry, she's not dead, I was just joking!" He says. What?Joking?
"What'd you mean?"I ask, hopeful.
"This is what he means." I hear a familiar voice. I know that voice.Tris. I turn around and there she stands, as radiant as ever. I knew it, she won't leave me here to grieve, all alone.Relief floods through me.She stands there smiling beautifully. It makes me smile too.Both Caleb and Tris start laughing.
"Caleb, you have such a talent in acting.He is not a kind of person who can be easily fooled." She says, laughing.
"You 2 are so gonna get it from me!" I playfully say to both of them.
"Yeah right,we'll see about that."Caleb says, grinning.
All of us laugh.
