Unforgettable memories (part 2)

Note: This is a continuation of Unforgettable memories (part 1) that was requested from @OkayIgotthekeys. I'll just tell you one thing, this part is a father and son bonding moment so be ready with some more fluff. Anyways, I hope you enjoy

Previously:

Laksamana/Admiral Tarung: *loud voice* Are you ready Cadet!?!???

Boboiboy: *doing TAPOPS salute* Yes Laksamana.

Laksamana/Admiral Tarung: Ochobot, open the teleportal now!!

Ochobot: Alright, Kuasa Telaportasi!!

Ochobot opened a portal up and on the other side, it showed the Floating Islands. Boboiboy gave one last look at Ochobot before going in the portal. After the portal closes, it's just Boboiboy and his dad in the Islands. Boboiboy looks at his dad and asks:

Boboiboy: Well, where do we go?

Currently, we see the Armored hero and the Elemental superhero sitting together in a cave on The Floating Islands. They've been searching for the lab for hours until it started to rain, so they decided to rest in a cave nearby and postpone their search until morning comes. Mechabot needed to tag along so if they get attacked, he can mechanize with Amato to transform into Mechamato. Currently he is charging in the transportable charger for powerspheras. (Note: Idk what it was cause I couldn't find anything on the internet)

Amato sits closer to the fire while rubbing his hands to keep himself warm. He is grateful that his son joined him on this mission and that he gets to spend time with him........again. Amato feels a heavy weight in his chest, in other words, he feel guilty....very guilty. Why you ask? Simple, for letting his son be independent all his life even in death situations. Despite being showing that he is confident in Boboiboy in front of the higher ups, he actually isn't confident. What if he dies and all because he lets him be independent? Boboiboy presumingly fell asleep, with his hat on. Sometimes he wonders, how in the world can he fall asleep that easily with his hat on. He repositions his head so now Boboiboy's head is on his lap.

He looks at him, his arms and legs full of scars and bruises that healed up long ago yet the marks are still slightly visible up close. He once again, feels guilty. Sure Boboiboy needs to continue the family legacy, but...........isn't he a bit too young? I mean, he has been defending Earth since he was 10, and joined TAPOPS when he was 14. Sure he also fought aliens (More of robots from the trailer and the little view of what might happen during the Mechamato theme song) when he was 14, but it's not the same with Boboiboy as he started earlier than him. Amato closes his eyes and says two words not aware that his son is awake:

Amato: I'm sorry, Boboiboy.

???: Sorry? What are you sorry for dad?

Amato immediately opens his eyes at the familiar voice. It turns out Boboiboy has been awake this whole time!

Amato: Son, your still awake?

Boboiboy: I was about to fall asleep until you repositioned my head

Amato sighs in relief to knowing that he is alright. But Boboiboy won't let him slip through his question.

Boboiboy: *frowns* But that doesn't mean you can escape my question.

Amato only freezes when he says that. His son is really keen when it comes to this huh? Amato, knowing he can't escape this question, decides to answer truthfully.

Amato: I'm sorry because I've always let you be independent, even in death situations. I'm sorry that the family legacy caused your childhood to be taken away from you. You've been fighting aliens since you were 10, yet I was never there to help you. I didn't visit you once on Earth after going back into space. I'm sorry I couldn't spend time with you. I know you hate me for that and I don't mind, it's my fault to begin with.

Boboiboy is shocked at what he said. Never did he hate him for the decisions he made, never. Sure, there were times were he was sad when his dad couldn't visit him like when he couldn't visit him during Earth day, but he doesn't mind. He knows that it was both for his own safety and because of his job. He just hugs his dad tightly and says:

Boboiboy: Dad, I don't hate you for anything. Sure I do miss you sometimes when you couldn't visit Earth for so many years, but I understand. You did what you thought was best for my safety. You didn't take my childhood away since being a superhero for me, is my childhood. I get to experience something no other kid could experience. I may have been in lots of death situations but I have my friends with me. We go through so much together and always have each other's back. With less time to visit Earth, we learned how valuable family reunions are. So I don't mind if you left me at all. This is the best childhood I could ask for.

Amato was shocked at how wise he was. Wasn't he suppose to give advice and guide the younger one-

Amato: Son, where did you learn all this stuff?

Boboiboy: *smiles while tilting his head* From Tok Aba and from you of course.

Amato: *while hugging him* I love you Boboiboy.

Boboiboy: I love you too dad.

What they didn't know is that Mechabot has finished charging and has watched the entire thing. AND has taken a picture of their moment without them realizing.

Mechabot: *whispers to himself* Hehehe, can't wait to send this to BBB's mom and Ochobot.

Authors note: Aaaannnndddd that's it. Part three will be posted around next week since I still have school and I still need to think of a plot for this. Sorry @OkayIgotthekeys, but I think you need to wait a bit longer. So do the others who asked for a request.
