We approached the mansion and during this whole ride, Hanma and I had been arguing left and right. He was surprised that I stood up for him and he was not having it. For the first time, I was less concerned about what they will think of me.
"This looks creepy," Yuzuha commented, fear visible over her face. I too gulped, but Hanma chuckled.
"What now miss fighter, are you scared?" he babbled, crackling my way. I raised my brow and straightened my back, staring him in the eye.
"Let's go inside," I muttered and he nodded with a smile, pretending as if he knew I was going to step back in time.
"His stepmother won't let us in." he smiled at our loss and shrugged his shoulders. His mentioning his stepmtmade me slightly uncomfortable because of the things Mikey has told me about them.
"She is a bitch," Yuzuha muttered in her mouth and crossed her arms across her chest. I was looking down, thinking about his stepmother, what is she doing to him? At this point, I was guilty about thinking wrong about Sanzu, that guy never took advantage of me, and even when I was drunk, he didn't touch me at all.
"What is her deal?" I turned to Yuzuha, who knew what I was talking about because before that incident on the bridge I messaged her about Sanzu and his mother.
"She is sick." Yuzuha rolled her eyes at the mention of his stepmother and what bothered me the most was that I was the first one to meet Sanzu, yet I knew nothing of him and it burned my soul to see how much Yuzuha knew about him.
"Just like you miss Y/n!" Hanma commented but making sure we don't hear him when we did.
"Hanma if you came here with the only purpose of bothering Y/n, you can leave," Yuzuha muttered, she has always been a good friend to me, why I was so blind to not see it?
"You are taking her side again," Hanma commented and before we could utter a word, he climbed the tree that was all bent down to the terrace of what he recognized as Sanzu's room.
"I am sorry, he is an idiot." Yuzuha apologetically smiled my way and followed him to the terrace. We all should be apologizing to Sanzu and Yuzuha for treating them like nobody and always expecting them to understand us. I climbed the tree and in no time we were on his terrace.
The door to his room was closed, and there was no light coming from his room. We stood there, thinking of a very polite way to knock when we heard a loud groan.
"Is he?" Yuzuha pressed her ear against the door and her eyes came out in shock and embarrassment, "he is je*****----," I didn't let her finish and interrupted.
"He is working out, damn what are you girls watching these days?" he glared at both of us and we looked away, well he sounded like----like he was pleasing himself.
"S----A-----N----Z------U," Hanma mouthed his name, we couldn't hear him let alone Sanzu will hear him. He was working out so he probably had his music playing loud in his ear too.
"Ugh! No wonder why you couldn't keep a girl." It was my moment to burn Hanma down for once and all. He veered his neck towards me and I couldn't help but notice Yuzuha's eyes jumping out of their sockets and his hands covering his mouth as the mixed feeling of shock and happiness devour her.
"What did you say?" Hanma growled, knowing exactly what I meant by that.
"Oh, you are soft, I mean your whispering, it is bad." I ignored looking him straight in the eye and pretended to think of a plan to get Sanzu's attention.
"You wanna know how hard I can be?" That was not predictable, he rushed my way to scare me obviously and Yuzuha marched between us.
"It's okay Yuzuha, he can't do a thing." I irritated him more, the look on his face was just watchable. I agree I was a bit selfish and even more in these past few weeks, but they had bullied me, everyone has treated me like trash since I was a kid so yeah!
