I scream, but he covered my mouth with his hand, trying to pick me up. Yuzuha was sitting on the grass when she stopped yelling, got up, and hit her bag on the guy's head. he let me loose and yelped, holding his hand on his head.
"ouch!" it was Hanma, the stupid guy. he watched our faces and started laughing at the top of his lungs, his finger pointing in our direction.
"you idiot!" Yuzuha growled, and I narrowed my eyes his way. my heart was jumping up and down in my innocent chest. I got up and put my bag back on my shoulders, Sanzu too showed up, holding a map in his hands.
"What happened?" he looked at us and raised his brow, we eyed Hanma, who was still laughing. Yuzuha has told them that I was going to join them, that's why Hanma made this brilliant plan to annoy me.
"hey!" Yuzuha waved her hand at Sanzu, who when smiled annoyed Hanma. sanzu was holding a map in his hand, and a huge question mark on his forehead.
"what am I supposed to do with that?" sanzu mumbled, tilting his head from right to left, trying to read the map upside down as well.
"why do we need a map?" Yuzuha shrugged her shoulders and I too waited for the boys to answer.
"I don't know where the cabin is." Hanma declared and quickly looked away, he knew we were looking at him with questionable eyes, "but Sanzu here can read a map." Hanma hurriedly said before we could slaughter him.
"me?" sanzu dropped the map instantly and watched our faces in confusion, "what made you think I can read the maps?" he proceeded, looking unsure of his friend's state of mind.
"because you knew where Japan is on the map." Hanma moved his hands, sounding even more stupid.
"Yeah so? what made you think I can read a map?" sanzu slapped his forehead, and then placed his hand on his hips, constantly watching his friend's face.
"but---," Hanma quickly shut up and itched his scalp in embarrassment.
"of course, this was about to happen when Hanma is the in-charge," I commented and rolled my eyes, they all stared at me.
"now you will talk about who is the disastrous here?" Hanma snapped, folding his arms across his chest, and glaring at me, pissed and annoyed.
"Hanma!" sanzu shouted, getting his friend's attention, "let's resolve this matter first." he pulled Hanma away from his shirt from us. at least, he reacted to my existence. now we were standing in the woods, in cold, and hungry, with Sanzu looking at the map like a lover would watch his lost lover's face. I watched him from head to toe and my body felt a weird chill running down my spine. there was something about his posture that was making me crazy, from biting my lip to uncomfortably staring at him, I didn't leave any.
"Okay!" sanzu, nodded looking at the map.
"you figured it out?" Hanma, who was now drowning in the guilt, asked, hoping for good news.
"yep!" sanzu pressed his lips in a tight line and shoved the map in his bag. we let go of a sigh of relief and smiled, watching each other.
"so what is it?" Yuzuha questioned with a smile on her face.
"that I can't read the map, and we have to find the cabin through some alternate way." sanzu mumbled seriously, we watched his face and glared him in the eye, "what?" he shrugged his shoulders. now we were stuck with no hopes when Hanma suddenly started dialing a number on his phone. as we were still near the road, he managed to get some bars on his phone.
"Okay, thanks to a lot dad." Hanma approach us with a smile while we watched his face in confusion, "dad told me the directions." smiled and his smile faded away when all three of us glared at him madly.
"you couldn't ask him before?" Yuzuha growled, narrowing her eyes at him. hanma looked happy as his dad had him a cabin and money.
"I knew this guy was dumb," I murmured under my breath, but I am sure they hear it.
"at least now we know the way." hanma ignored our stares and began walking ahead of us. throughout the hike, I kept mending my bag's strap on my shoulder, and it kept falling off.
"let me grab it for you." sanzu, who was walking behind all of us, offered help. a glimpse of happiness blossomed in my heart, but I have to act natural, I can't be acting like I was waiting for his help, I also have to make sure that I am not too rude.
"it's okay, you have you won b---," I turned around and pressed my lips tightly when Sanzu moved ahead and grabbed Yuzuha's bag out of her hand. she smiled his way, and they both walked ahead of me, he didn't even acknowledge me. what a moron!
it is all your doing Y/n! my brain snapped.
now, I was walking behind them, constantly staring at Sanzu's butt that no matter how hard I tried not to look at, I kept staring at it.
I was walking behind them with anger filling up my veins, he could have at least offered me help.
"there it is!" Hanma announced, opening his arms in the air and standing in front of the cabin. have to say, it was indeed a beautiful cabin. the smiles on our faces were full of triumph and victory.
I glanced at Sanzu, who was scanning the surroundings while his beautiful eyes narrowed down. he was casually looking around when our eyes met and I quickly looked away. dammit! he must think I was staring at him, why am I doing this to myself?
we followed Hanma to the inside and guess what, it was only one room. the guys were going to be nice and give it to the girls, right? nope, think again because these two were crossing all the limits of douchebaggery.
"wow! a room for us." Hanma clapped his hands and cheered, Yuzuha and I shared a glance and frowned, he can't be serious, well at least Sanzu will be a little nice about this situation, ugh! our innocent little thoughts.
"oh crazy! it's cool," sanzu mumbled, glancing at everything and running upstairs for the room.
"Are you guys serious?" Yuzuha yelled after them, stopping Hanma at his pace upstairs.
"oh yes, baby girl because if you thought you were going to get a room with your boyfriend, you were wrong." Hanma pretty much went through the words in the meanest way he could. Yuzuha's jaw dropped open while he ended up getting in the room.
"well, at least it proves he is burning inside." I shrugged my shoulders and patted her back, giving her a closed-lip smile.
"no way I'm sleeping here in the lounge." Yuzuha stubbornly threw the bag on the floor and stood with her hands on her hips, "GUYS WE NEED TO TALK!" she declared loudly. well, ten minutes, and nobody responded.
"umm, they don't care." I passed her another closed-lip smile, our necks lifted back as we kept looking up for them to show up.
"GUYSSSSSSSSSS!" that was it, she yelled like somebody was stealing her sugar daddy, and voilà! they rushed out. sanzu has to be changing his shirt because now he was in a white shirt, that wasn't even buttoned up.
"what's wrong?" he asked, quickly buttoning ul his shirt, followed by Hanma, who raised his brow because he probably knew what all this commotion was about.
"We need a room." she declared, folding her arms on her chest and staring them straight in the eye one by one.
sanzu looked at Hanma behind him, quickly looking back at Yuzuha, and mumbled in a very casual tone, "then built one, nobody is stopping you." the way he shrugged his shoulders made me think for a second that he was serious, but a smile crept over his lips that faded quickly as soon as his eyes landed on me, what? I didn't even do anything now.
"sanzu I can't stay here, I need a room." she insisted, he tilted his head, and what he did next shocked both me and Hanma.
"we two can share the one, they will be down here." his smile made me kill him instantly, how can he suggest something like that? I get it that he was trying to make Hanma jealous, but what about me? do I even exist anymore?
