He got up and before I could get a chance to walk upstairs or take a few steps behind to get away from him, he trapped me in between his arms. I looked at him and then at his hands. It was uncomfortable to stand this close to him. I forgot to breathe when he bent over me to look me in the eye.

"Mikey I need to go," I stated and looked away, I had no idea where I got that strength from, but I knew it was the right thing to do. He had always taken me for granted, it was always his choice to come and talk to me and then leave me whenever he felt like so. Although this had been something I had desired for ages, I was still not okay with him being this close to me, especially when he kicked me out of his car.

"You are not leaving until I tell you what I wanted to say to you earlier." Being stubborn and conceited he was, he was not ready to give up. I looked him in the eye and sighed, why did he ruin everything? He drops his one hand in his pocket and took out something, it was a chain and a small white stone in it. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. He then proceeded to come closer to me and at this point, I knew he wasn't going to hurt me. He held my hair in his hand and removed them from my shoulders as he locked the necklace around my neck. His cold fingers lightly brushed against my neck unintentionally, but I liked it. My mind had stopped working for a moment, it was hard to get what just happened. He sighed and stepped back, his face hinting about his pain and how badly my actions affecting him. I gawked in his eyes mutely to capture that moment in my mind, who knows if he goes back to ignoring me in the morning.

"I just wanted to thank you for being there after my breakup, you truly prove you are a good person and I didn't do justice. I am happy now that you have found good friends, even when I'm not one of them," his words not started to break my heart, but his voice as well. At moments like these, my tongue usually goes hush and that was his cue to leave. He climbed down to his room and disappeared off my sight in a matter of seconds.

I ran inside my room, locking the door behind me like somebody chasing me, and held the stone in my grip, I shouldn't hurt him like that. The cold stone came in contact with my palm as I took off the chain to have a clear look at that piece of beauty, he had a good choice. Isn't this what he wants? A person admits to his wrongs and tries to fix them. Even though I felt like I have driven him far away now, which was anyways going to happen. I never wanted to be his friend, just the love of his life and it appeared to me as he was never going to see me in that light, so I guess what happened is right.

I took a deep sleep once everything in my life was at its right place for once and woke up at my alarm clock.

It was Mr. Grandpa, who dropped us at school, no wonder Mikey had left before us. And I didn't wear the necklace too, I didn't want to make Sanzu uncomfortable, which was not making any sense as to why would he even care? But I still decided to hide my conversation with Mikey from last night.

"Hey!" Yuzuha's heavy breathing mixed with elation fall upon my ears as she whispered over my shoulders.

She sat behind me in her old spot that she had left after I ditched her. I was happy to have her perch with me again.

"Hey!" Being hesitant and ashamed of how I treated her in the past, I was a little too reserved with her now. Yuzuha being so supportive and forgiving was making me insecure about my actions.

"I am so happy that we are back at being friends again." She giggled genuinely showing excitement. My body slowly turned around and I passed her a weak smiled. I was able to spot Hanma behind her as well, not knowing how he was going to respond, I kept staring at him blankly.

A wide smile crept over his lips as our eyes met. So everybody else in the world was nice while I was pretending to be one. I have accused him of the worst and never apologized, but he was passing me a smile innocently.

Suddenly, I got many friend. After class, we all went to the cafe to get us food, and once done, we waited for Sanzu's arrival, who we haven't seen the whole day.

"He said he will be here in a minute," Hanma said, looking at Sanzu's text on his phone.

"I am sorry there was a crazy situation going on." Sanzu voiced from afar, putting on the black leather jacket that he aced. I tried to hide my smile as he approached us and looked at me. "Oh, we have royal people with us." He teased and bowed elegantly, making me blush red. Yuzuha eyed him to not make things awkward for me and that was the best thing that happened, she was back at her protective behavior.

"So where are we going?" I inquired, watching the smile on their faces. Yuzuha rested her elbow on Hanma's shoulder, who ducked down a bit to support her height, they were so cute together.

"To our spot," Hanma chuckled, every gang has a spot and they were acting like that was a hidden place. I've been there before.

"You idiot! she knows." Sanzu shook his I'm disbelief of his friend, forgetting such a major detail, "She was in the tunnel once and you tried to bull----," Sanzu is Sanzu, was about to make fun of Hanma when Hanma instantly snapped. Oh! He was scared of Yuzuha, how cute!

"Yeah, yeah that was in the past, shall we go now?" he rolled his eyes, running swiftly over his words to divert the subject. He held Yuzuha's hand who slapped it away quickly. Why was she always jeopardizing her relationship with me?

"What did I do?" I heard Hanma complaining in Yuzuha's ear as Sanzu and I walked ahead of them and they kept following us.

"Don't ever try to bully her," she whispered back at him, I have missed her so much. now that we were friends again, I was enjoying her cute little protective actions. that wasn't the only thing I was cherishing, the way Sanzu peeped at my face every 2 minutes from the corner of his eyes was just giving me butterflies in my stomach.

we reached the tunnel and they all suggested I be the first one to enter, it was scary in the beginning, but once I stepped inside, it felt so good. all the orphans were present, having conversations, and even playing.

"You okay?" Sanzu asked, just to make sure I was not in my feelings since it was all too new for me, but honestly speaking, it felt like home. it felt like I belonged there. we spent hours there, not taking an account time. I have never been this happy and myself before.

it was time to leave as the sun has already gone down. Sanzu dropped me home and before parting our ways, I turned around to ask him something that has been bothering me.

"You said there was a scary situation, was it about Mikey?" I had a feeling that Mikey was going to cause a mess. he wasn't the type who would accept his defeat and for him to be this quiet was scary.

"Nope," he shook his head with a smile on his face, "his sister." he mouthed, rolling his eyes. I don't understand why Emma was being too concerned about Sanzu or who he hangs out with. It was like she was more obsessed with the idea of someone being with Sanzu than having to have him for herself, which is what I think it was all about. I couldn't get her screams of anger off my head from that day, it wasn't a rage you feel when you see your crush on someone so what was that? Now that the discussion of Sanzu and a girl was brought up in my mind, the thought of Baji's twin and Sanzu together, coming out of that room, appeared in my consciousness. Should I ask him?
