I'm a grade 12 student, currently taking my assignment as a joke because I rather stay up all night scrolling in social media than let myself answer those questions in school.
Is it a good thing? Obviously not.
I just lost interest in everything. The last time I check I still enjoy listening to my math teacher explaining the lessons. But after this facebook thing caught up my attention, I stop functioning well in school.
I mean, I can still answer some if it just needed some comprehension and common sense. I'm not dumb, just a lost puppy but can still bark.
I find it funny that I ended up thinking this way. Like why there is a 17 years old smart-ass beach who doesn't reply to her teacher about her unfinished task?
I don't really care about what people think of me. But if my family and close friends hit my sensitive spots, I'll cry immediately. Listen to people you care about, but in my case, if they don't care as I expected, I will do the same but hundred percent better.
Every post on Facebook has some funny comments. I don't know if they care about what people might think about them but whatever, they can help me in a way. And that is finding the worst side of people.
That worst kind is not just about killers, people who bully, liars or thieves in many ways.
Because on Facebook, the worst kind of people has hundreds of followers. They are also some dummy accounts if you still think about your privacy.
And I also found out that some worst people are called influencers that make it worse because I've seen them in some ads on Facebook.
I think it's a new trend to show your true self, which is their worst side, and let it trend to gain more followers and people will get you to endorse their business.
I don't know if it's normal to be like that but as I see it, they are so funny, like a clown in a circus thirsty for attention.
I also read some posts that they are flexing the worst sides of the candidacy for the coming election.
I learn the word flexing when I see some people posting what they have on social media.
Supporters of each candidate for the presidency are fighting in the comment section to protect their chosen president. They don't even give some links or some source to justify their words. And it all leads to bullying each other's appearance. What a vovo.
When will I find someone that not a hypocrite in our country today? It becoming their normal state. Being a clown, enjoying clout chasing, because it's a trend.
Comments in social media by people are their way of showing how they think. Obviously, because it crosses their mind but also theirs guts to share it with all.
As I said I rather stay in my room so that includes not talking to other people aside from my fam. My only basis of how people think nowadays is only on the internet, "mga keyboard warrior" as they say.
One comment I read is, the person is saying that she is not in favor of how people think about their delicacy. she said that people always say that '2021 na' 'hindi na yan uso' 'ur too old for that'. People choose to be bolder.
They tend to adopt other cultures and lowkey forget to be conservative, it's not that it's needed because we are all different but the sense of respecting ur self because some people today enjoys saying disrespectful words because they are made to be part of dumb people so we can't avoid it.
Many people are raised to be trash, but a garbage can can't avoid them.
So if you feel like you are surrounded by trash,stop being garbage. Stop attracting them.
The comment I read is simply saying that as time passed by, people forget to be smart.
In this year, young people can do what they want because they know that the internet can solve any problem they have. Like getting pregnant at a young age, they can easily sell online to feed their children or just simply rely on their parents and raise another kid that poorly continues the cycle.
They are not smart enough to teach their children so their children are inspired on the internet and do what adults do and get pregnant in the end.
What's funny is they are proud with their so-called blessing and 'flex' in their social media that they are having a child in their most immature state, loud and proud;)
I hope they can be smarter and teach their child to not copy them because they are dumb.
That's why I choose to spend more time by myself and the internet because those dumb people in socmed can already teach me about the things I should do in life.
Their empty head teaches me that even staying in my room is a good thing to have more smart people in this country.
