Let go

I had to let her ago. I had to let them take her. I had to save her from the hell that is our life. Since she was taken I have been beaten, raped and stabbed I was clinging to life. But I knew she was safe. I still fought for her but I didn't have to fight as hard. I no longer had to protect her from the pain. I hadn't seen the outside world since I got her out.I knew Erin or Sylvie had her. I knew she would miss me. I had told her all about Sylvie and Erin long before this. She knew to trust them.

I could barely keep my eyes open. I had dry blood all over me. My breath laboured the exhaustion being a lot. I knew I couldn't give up. I had a two year old out that I needed to keep fighting for. I couldn't let my world go black. I heard banging but I couldn't move. Just prepare myself for another beating. I vividly saw movement but they were moving to fast for me to focus, their voices also seemed so far away. Someone gets on the bed beside me. I try to weakly move away but my body doesn't move. "It's ok here police" he said his voice becoming clearer. I could make out his brown blond hair. He moves his hand all over. I was sure he was check over my injuries. I saw two more people enter the room followed by many more. "Holly" I hear a familiar voice gasp but I couldn't make out who. I felt hands moving around me again and instructions being given before I was lifted. Someone carried me up the steps. Every step felt jaring. The sun was so bright, blinding. I hadn't been in the sun for so long. I could feel the heat. I was placed on a bed, was wheels into an ambulance. "Rorie" I gasp out trying to sit up, it felt like a thousand eyes were on me "Aurora my baby" i gasp out exhausted from talking. "Holly it's Sylvie" I hear I want to turn but my body wouldn't allow it "she's with Erin and Jay she's safe" I weakly smile. Safe, my baby was safe. That's when it all went black. I could hear distant yelling before it faded into nothing.
