I need to figure this out. I had a daughter who was relying on me. I had to get money, get a place I have no idea what else I need. I spin around on a chair beside Erin. Aurora was playing with the magic mirror with Adam. "Ok what's bugging you" she she'd had on the desk for dramatics. It was just us and Kevin in the bullpen, everyone else were chasing leads. "I need a job but to get a job you have to have finished school" I throw my hands up dramatically "last time I checked I couldn't finish school being kidnapped and all I don't know how to do anything and I have an amazing three year old who's the absolute best and she's relying on me" I had tears in my eyes "hey hey calm down we got this" she stands before me with her hands on my shoulders. "We're going to figure this out first thing we are going to finish your school" I was highly confused "you can do that" "yeah" she nods making me sigh "I wouldn't even know where to begin I'm have never been book smart Erin but I do have all these skills from being kidnapped" she nods "we can work with that" she nods "and we can help you finish" "really" "yeah you save me from getting expelled I don't know how many times so yeah I will will happily help even get these guys to help" I nod smiling "now what kind of skills do you have that I don't know about" "let's see I know how to manipulate a situation talk someone down or push them right off that edge" I shrug running my hair through my wild curl hair "I know how to make something out of nothing convince people, get people to do what I want" "most of that is manipulative girl" I flip Kevin off causing him to laugh "um I good at connecting" I wave my hands around "I spent most of my time in a basement so the little time I was out I learnt to connect in the little time I had. Make sure they know someone is listening because I would have killed for someone to do that for me" I rub my face "I can fight but learnt to be a punching bag because that hurt less. I look at my watch "we should go" I jump up "you don't have" I cut Erin off "no I have to I promised Aurora we go" she sends me a smile nodding as I walk down the hall. I laugh seeing Adam and her playing with the one way mirror. "Rorie we have to go" she smiles nodding racing over to me. "Bye bestie" she gives Adam a high five before we both walk out of the building

We had lunch and were running around a park when I got a call telling me to come to the precinct. I race over in quite the panic. I honestly thought something happened. However when we walk in I relax seeing Trudys smile she wouldn't be smiling if something happened. "Kim can you go get Voight" she demands "oh and Aurora do you want to see them" she asks "go see your bestie kiddo" "Jay is mad Adam is my bestie" she shrugs causing us to laugh. Still have no idea if she knows what bestie means or if Adam just told her that what she was. I nervously sat in the office with Trudy. "Am I in trouble or is he getting out" my eyes widen "no kid" Hank said walking in "Erin actually came to me after you left said you could be quiet the asset even told me all the skills you had" I nod still very confused "yeah Erin said she was going to help me finish school didn't even know you could do that" they smile "so I talked to Trudy and we came up with an idea" I nod not sure "intelligence need someone to answer phone and research things when we aren't there" I still wasn't getting this "you can do school online in between answering phones and helping us on cases" "is that even legal" "you would be a civilian consultant" I give Hank a deadpanned look "you just made that up didn't you" Trudy laughs nodding "he did" "ok I'm fine with all this very thankful" they nod very confused "but Rorie I can't exactly give her to someone Im still learning to trust not everyone is trying to kidnap or hurt my daughter" "you can bring her here" I nod slowly "she can sleep in the break room if need be" "you two really thought of everything" they nod "ok I'm in but if it get to annoying you tell me I prefer honestly" they nod "if it get difficult you tell us" I nod smiling. We all walk out after I sign a few papers however before I can walk out the door. "Here" Hank hands me a huge pile of cash I immediately shake my head "I can't" "you can and you will" he places in my hand forcing me to take it "from the moment I met you you treated me and everyone else with kindness, a kindness I don't even know how you have. You have a beautiful daughter who lights up a room when she walks in" "Erin told me what you for her I was going to listen to her over everything else I hear" he nods
