Large Family

I was holding Auroras hand as we slowly walk down the street. People were getting annoyed with us, throwing nasty look our way, some even throwing comments. But we didn't care. We were somewhat immune to nasty comments and looks. We were just going at our own pace. We turn into the long driveway instantly gaining attention. "Kelly" my sweet girl yells running up to him jumping into his arms "what are you guys doing here" Sylvie asks having heard her goddaughter yell and coming out. "Thought we would visit she kept going on about how she missed everyone" I shrug watching Aurora captive their attention. "You ok" I shrug "it's an adjustment but I'm getting there" "saw you and Jay last night" I frown as the memories of me freaking out cloud my mind "nothing happened" she stares at me trying to work out if I was telling the truth or not. "I wanted something to happen I really did but I freaked out the moment his hands started roaming my body" I sigh "Holly you have had a life time of pain all crammed into ten years how you manage to get up with a smile is still beyond me it's ok" "that little spitfire is why I get up with a smile" I point to my laugh sassy daughter "he was perfect about it...said we didn't have to do anything we could just sit and talk. I just wanted it so bad I wanted to do something for me" tears build up as all the memories of the past where it wasn't my choice cloud my mind. Sylvie puts her hands on my shoulders "you will get there I promise" she reassured "Sylvie is right and you have done something for you you somehow raised that little girl to be kind polite even a little sassy she's the perfect Angel and that's down to you" Stella said which made me instantly happy "think it's also because she saw me hurt she didn't want to be another reason I got hurt" "maybe but she is smart kind and loving you can't teach someone that with fear" she adds making me hug her "thank you Stella I needed to hear that" she nods as I step back "also everyone here loves her" "of course they do she's my better half" they laugh "Erins been messaging me to bring her to the 21st apparently everyone there loves her two and wants her" "that child has one big family" I nod to Sylvies words glad my daughter had this massive family. I had no one besides Erin and Sylvie maybe if I had so many people none of this would have happened. But if none of this happened I would have my sweet Aurora Silver. Is it bad that I'm grateful.

"What to visit Erin" I ask Aurora as we walk the street she's holding my hand tightly. She nods excitedly "I can see Adam his fun" she runs not letting go of my hand, dragging me down the street causing me to laugh.

She runs up the steps. "Trudy Trudy" she shouts running to the desk "this is mummy mummy she's in charge she's super cool" Trudy laughs before look over at me "your the famous Holly" I nod "I'm take you up although pretty sure miss here knows her way around and could do my job" she laugh "Hank told me I could be his best detective any day" she smiles gleefully jumping up the steps stopping at the caged gate allowing Trudy to put the numbers in. The moment it's open she lets go of my hand and runs in "Adam Adam" she runs over to the blonde man that's standing in front of the board while she's talking in Adams arms Erin turns the board around so she can't see anything causing me to smile and nod at her. "Can we play" "I got to catch to catch the bad guys remember" Aurora pouts "but after I catch the bad guys we can play" she nods "you have to catch the bad guys" she looks around as he places her on the floor. She races around the room giving everyone a hug. "So your the famous Adam" my voice startles him I notice him become nervous "yeah" he seemed unsure "relax she just talks about her friend Adam and you were one of the few I hadn't met" he nods smiling looking at the girl who is now in who I don't know. I tilt my head confused "it's Voight" I was even more confused never hearing that before "Hank Voight" he introduced himself to me. The realisation hit me like a tone of bricks. "Your Hank" he nods confused "sorry she's been saying all these names and I have no idea who they are" he nods understandably he puts Aurora down who chases Jay down the hall. I look concerned "she's fine" he reassures me making me somewhat relax "she told me how you said she was your best detective" he smiles "she wanted to be part of the team" I nod if I didn't see Erin turn the board around I probably would have panicked at that statement. I know there protecting her. "Mummy come see the magic mirror" she races up to me "it's so cool Adam said they had to get a witch to make it magic" I laugh allowing her to pull me down the hall "we can watch people being silly without them knowing it's super cool" the innocents of this child. "They also have a cage that lions are kept in but they don't have any lions right now. They did before I couldn't go down there while there was a lion in the cage" she was speaking a million miles an hour excitedly. We walk back into the room. Where everyone was. I look around everyone as at the desks "if you want us to go we can I don't want us to be in your way" I say "I don't want to stop your guys from working on the case" "we somehow did it when you we in the basement and in hospital" Hank said shrugging "you can stay as long as you like" he waves us off "ok but the moment we start getting in the way you tell use and we will leave I won't be offended and if she's sad she will get over it" they nod. My daughter sat on Jays lap helping him type on his computer "aunt Erin am I a better detective than Jay" "Yep" Erin said without hesitation making Jay gasp dramatically "hey kid look at the positive your a detective and Adam over these isn't" she smiles gleefully "really" Al nods "cool" she said amazed "I better than you" she directed it to Adam as she sits comfortably on Jays lap. "I wouldn't be so sure" "I'm faster" she shrugged "yeah I wouldn't doubt that she's like lightening especially when she wants something" "that a cool car" she points to the computer screen as Jay sits up pressing a few buttons. "Hey I think we got something" "did my daughter catch something you didn't" I say jokingly as they all crowd around "the car behind the one she thinks is cool" Jay said rolling his eyes "show them the cool car" he tells Aurora who nods watching them screen "there it is look at it" she smiles gleefully "that is a cool car kid" Kevin said however I could tell all their attention was clearly not on the car she was pointing at. "See mummy I'm a good detective" my daughter nods to herself "better than Adam and Jay" she adds smiling innocently making everyone but the two males laugh.
