Natasha walked in with Fury. She was on a mission to see her son. As soon as she saw the name under mother as "Sally," she wanted to grab her gun and have a nice target practice. Fury had seen it too and he sent people to investigate her.
Natasha was grateful for Fury. They walked in the hospital and talked to doctor attending Percy. They had read all the information from the thing sent over by Elizabeth, but wanted to ask about his personality. How had he reacted when he woke up?
"When he woke up he was sassy. Every time I asked a question about his health he would say I am fine. Clearly he wasn't fine, but that didn't stop him from mouthing off. Teenagers if you know what I mean. He was very cheerful once he got some food in him."
Natasha smirked a little. Sassy huh. Well it seems the gene pool runs pretty deep for him. Fury looked intrigued. "Can you tell me the exact words were with his sass?" Fury wanted to know.
Natasha wanted to know and waited. Then the doctor reiterated the encounter with Percy Jackson. They tried to look serious, but they were laughing so hard in the inside they were visibly shaking.
Natasha felt a little better. A worry that was clouding her mind was that her son was cold. Percy wasn't cold. After listening to the doctor talk about stories of Percy she can tell he is sassy but has a kind heart. She felt put at ease.
When Natasha knocked and entered the room Percy was taking out the IV fluids. He looked up at her sheepishly. Like a kid who got caught putting his hand in the candy jar.
"I don't think you are supposed to be doing that."
Percy slumped back in his chair. "I am bored and there is nothing wrong with me. I keep telling the doctors that but they don't listen to me."
"I didn't know you were a doctor."
Percy huffed. "I know my body."
Natasha sat down by his bed side. "The doctors are just worried. Can you blame them? You were passed out for 2 days. They just want to know the reason."
"Stubborn doctors, I know they have to release me in an hour."
"That may be , but you still do not look at 100%."
Percy eyed her. "Is anyone ever at a 100%."
Natasha smiled a little. Her kid.
"Not to be mean, but who are you and why are you in my room. Not that I don't mind talking to you. It's just a little strange."
"Kid you were just mugged by strangers." Natasha decided to change the topic.
"I am going to allow you to change to the subject, but yes I was."
"Do you know who they were," Natasha said. She was crossing her arms and glaring at the boy in the bed.
Percy did the puppy seal eyes. Natasha melted when she saw those eyes. They were like the ones she saw in the dream. "Can I hug you," Natasha asked.
Percy was a little unsure but nodded anyways. He really hoped that she didn't grow teeth and stab him.
Natasha hugged her baby boy and she just knew that he was her. A moment of realization hit. She was a mother. A mother with a child that could be in danger. She looked down at her boy and glared. "Now who mugged you. Don't you think I notice how you changed the subject."
"That's not fair," Percy whined. "You changed the subject first."
Natasha kept glaring.
Percy shrugged. "Your glare isn't that scary. You should see my girlfriend's glare. Now that is scary."
Natasha waited. She ignored the fact that he has a girlfriend, and that she glares. It was true that sons date someone who is similar to their mother. At least that is what clicked in Natasha's mind.
Percy was tapping away at the corner of the bed. Completely ignoring the fact that a red-head assassin was glaring down at him.
Fury walked in. Percy turned and looked up at him. Confusion in his face. "Why is there a pirate in my room?" Percy turned to Natasha. "Maybe I am hallucinating," Percy said.
Natasha fought with herself not to laugh. She couldn't help a small smile though.
"Did they give me drugs? Ugh, I knew I should have taken out these IVs sooner."
Fury looked down at Percy. "You are not hallucinating."
Percy shrugged. "You may be my subconscious trying to reassure me. I appreciate it, though."
Natasha smiled, and then looked at her son. "Percy he is not an imaginary figure."
Percy looked stumped for a moment and then nodded. "Oh, then why is there a cosplayer in my room."
Natasha choked. She couldn't with this kid. Breathe in through the nostrils and out through the mouth. Fury looked mad.
"I am Nick Fury. People just call me Fury."
"Is it because you are mad."
"Kid," Fury started.
"I am 17 nearly an adult. You can drop the kid."
"Percy...I am here to talk to you about something."
"Is my mom okay," Percy asked.
Fury scrunched his eyebrows. "Why would you ask about her."
Percy shrugged. "Well I assumed you were a government agent. I pretty sure you don't know my dad or his side of the family. I mean I met him a few times. The only one on my file is my mom."
Fury looked impressed. "You are pretty smart kid. I want to hear more about your dad later. Is he one of the reasons you were attacked by the mob?"
"Maybe," Percy said."
Natasha's eyes narrowed. His father was the reason he was attacked. She now had something solid to hate him for. Endangering their son. No, her son.
"Well what is it..."
A lady came into the room. "Percy," she called and ran into the room.
"Mom," Percy said. His eyes widening.
