Lexa
"You were dead. I helped to light the fire that burned your body" Indra said approaching me.
We met and gripped each others forearms. "It was not me" I stated. She took a moment to study me but ultimately nodded her head. "It was Anna and Clarke who saved me" I said dropping my arm to my side.
Indra and Octavia turned their attention to the blonde. "Anna was the one who thought she was still breathing. So, we snuck her body into the rover and took her to another location. From there we did everything we could to save her" Clarke explained.
"You told me died while in a coma" Octavia aimed the statement at her brother.
"When we left for the ark we thought her and Clarke were taken by praimfaya" Bellamy sighed regretfully.
Indra eyed Clarke and the others oddly, "Anna never mentioned it."
I frowned. Anna never mentioned trying to save my life, not even to Freya? I know originally Anna refused to let anyone tell Freya because I might not make it. But she's been in this bunker with her for eight years and never brought it up? Even if she thought I was dead wouldn't she tell Freya to what extent she tried?
"I missed you" I heard Bellamy say. I watched him engulf his sister in a tight hug. A feeling of envy overcame me. Raven was the next one to hug Octavia and tell her how she'd missed her. Although none of them made a comment on how different she looked. She was wearing red leather like armor, a thin dark red cloak and her hair was cut at shoulder length.
My longing to hold Freya in my arms reminded me of the man standing beside me. Quirking an eyebrow at Lincoln I nodded my head towards the woman greeting her friends. The look in his eyes showed hesitation but love. After watching for another minute he stepped forward, "Octavia."
She turned around instantly. When she first entered the room she had glossed over everyone she saw. However, looking at Lincoln now she still couldn't process it. She covered the distance between them and gently wrapped her arms around him. Lincoln held her tightly and whispered to her. It's clear they have many things to discuss.
If Freya reacted the same to seeing me I would be okay. Because she is there in front of me.
Indra was standing near the door after having excused the man who brought us here. "Indra" I called turning to focus my attention on her. She hummed meeting my eye. "Can you take me to Freya?" I asked with a twinge of hope in my voice.
She opened her mouth about to respond but was cut off by Octavia, "Where have you all been? It was suppose to be four years and now it's been what? Eight."
"Eight years and three months" I told her.
"Eight years and three months" she repeated quieter as it sunk in.
Memories of all the days I spent above trying to get to the hatch. "We tried to call on the radio, did you-" Clarke spoke stepping forward. "Did you hear any of it?" she asked.
Octavia shared a look with Indra, it wasn't good. My mood sank at the silent confirmation that Freya hadn't heard any of my calls. "No, we didn't" she finally said.
I aimed my question at Octavia, "Where is Freya?"
Briefly her eyes shot too Indra but the look in them was unreadable. "Have you been on earth the extra four years?" she asked looking at her brother.
I clenched my fists at the obvious flection of the question. What are they trying to hide? And where is Freya, is she hurt?
"We landed yesterday" Monty was the one to push past the tense atmosphere.
