You were staring at your feet for the whole time your father was screaming around the house, telling you and your mother how irresponsible you had been and how even a kid would've understood he was playing tricks on you.
"Inho, calm down" your mum got up from the armchair and placed a hand on your dad's shoulder. "We're talking about a demon, and our y/n doesn't have any power against him. She told you he played with her mind, why are you putting all the blame on her?"
"Because it wouldn't have happened if she didn't get close to the door! If Lucas didn't sense her presence still behind the door... I don't know what could've happened to her."
You sighed and put a stroke of hair behind your ear, now looking at your father. "I get it that you're angry, but nothing happened. You saved me, and I promise I won't get close to that door ever again. What else do you want?"
Your father stared at you for several moments without saying anything, and then walked up to you with a softer expression. "I don't want to fight, but I was so scared and... I thought I was going to lose you forever. The only time I was so scared was when I thought your mother would die."
You gulped when you heard that, and you felt so bad for giving him such a big shock. It had been such a stupid move to let that demon play with you - it wasn't your fault, but you should've left the basement as soon as you were done with Lucas. But you didn't. And you wanted to hit yourself for that, especially because your father had to use a big amount of his magic to secure the door again, and it had been exhausting for him. "I'm sorry. I really am. It won't happen again, I swear."
Your mum had a worried face behind your father, but it immediately turned into a relieved one as your he made you stand up to hug you. Her perfect teeth were showing, and she made a finger heart as she mouthed I love you.
Me too, you answered back, melting into your father's embrace as you thought you were very lucky to have such a beautiful family. There were fights, obviously, but the good thing was that you always managed to overcome the problems and still be united - it always felt nice to hug them after having a discussion, knowing they held no grudges against you.

"Suji, I just got out of the shower" you told her as soon as you picked up the call, risking slipping on the wet floor - you never managed to have a shower without splashing water everywhere. "I'll call you..."
"No, I'll be quick" she interrupted you, and sounded pretty nervous. "Alright?"
You nodded with a sigh. "Okay, tell me" you said and started preparing the products for your skincare routine. You were not a big expert when it came to those things, but you liked to think they were going to make you look prettier, or at least have flawless skin. Yet, when you grabbed the toner, you noticed something that immediately caused shivers to run down your spine.
Suji, in the meantime, kept on talking to you, unaware of the fact thtat you stopped listening to her after a while. "Remember the other night, when we were talking about Yoongi and..."
Your friend's voice slowly faded out as your mind stopped focusing on what she was saying; you were too focused on the back of your hand where a neat, red sentence was written on it.
What a little, naive human you are.
You couldn't believe your eyes. That sentence wasn't there that morning, and it wasn't there that afternoon either. It had probably appeared while you were showering, you weren't sure, but the scariest thing was that you perfectly knew who was the one responsible for that. And that realisation made your heart race kick up.
