:: your POV

Your eyes were glued on the magic that was happening on Jimin's exposed chest.

It wasn't something you were doing on purpose, not at all, you just felt this heat inside of your body, flowing through your veins and being transferred from you to Park Jimin. Whatever was going on, it had never happened since you were born; as your father had told you, the magic you had within yourself was gone the moment you used it all to unconsciously save your mother while she was giving birth to you.

So, it made no sense that you were now, somehow, healing the long and deep wound on the devil's body. You had only wanted to touch it, to check if it was something you could heal by using human products, or if it had a spell on it that didn't allow it to heal by itself.

When you first touched it, you realised it wasn't possible to cure it with human things, but when you tried to pull your hand back you saw these faint, white sparkles on your fingers and... and then the wound was closing. From bright red it became a pale white, leaving almost no trace of the painful injury he previously had.

Maybe I was desiring to heal him so badly that... this happened.

"Hey, stop."

Maybe I still had a very small amount of magic in my body after I was born, and I'm unconsciously using it right now, as I did with my mother.

"Little doll, it's okay now, stop."

Maybe my father lied to me, as he lied about what he's doing down here and about his goal with these creatures.

"Y/n!"

You flinched when the devil called out your name so suddenly, and that caused you to accidentally touch one of the bars. "Ah, motherfucker!" You barely managed not to scream when you got burned so unexpectedly. "Gee..." you started shaking your hand in an attempt to ease the pain, but it was useless.

"I told you to stop, you were creepy. You kinda were in a state of trance." Park Jimin was looking at you with furrowed eyebrows, probably wondering what the heck you were thinking about during the process of healing him.

You took a deep breath, looking at the part of your wrist which was now stinging like hell. "It hurts so freaking much. What are these made of?"

He looked at the bars made of light, and he scrolled his shoulders. "Something which burns if you touch it."

You closed your eyes to avoid insulting him and then put on a fake smile as you stared at him. "You don't say."

"I know, I always tell myself how smart I am."

You decided to ignore him and looked down at your wrist, noticing how red lines started forming on your skin, almost like a spider web. Your skin was now a bright shade of pink, but fortunately it was starting to hurt less. "My dad is a maniac, what the hell?"

"I know, right?" The demon sounded like he was teasing you. No, wait. He was actually teasing you and he was also testing your patience. "Do you still trust your daddy as much as you did until yesterday?"

You gave him a death stare. "I don't want to have a debate with you about my father."

"Then, let's talk about what you just did."

"I don't know what I just did. I didn't even do it consciously."

"See?" The demon smirked when your eyes went back on him. "I told you destiny is connecting us."
