When you followed Jungkook towards the main street, you were so glad that he accepted to take you away from the pub without asking any question about your sudden change of mind. But shortly after you regretted making that decision.

It was not because you didn't trust him, nor because you wanted to go back to the pub, but because of the huge motorcycle in front of you. And also, because it was clearly waiting for you to hop on.

You let out a nervous laugh, now looking at Jungkook with slightly widened eyes. "You're kidding, right?"

He shook his head, unaware of your internal conflict. "Why?"

"Because..." another nervous chuckle left your mouth, and at that point you though you looked a little crazy. "I can't get on that thing."

The handsome police officer narrowed his eyes, probably wondering what the heck was wrong with you. Then, a few moments later, you noticed the realisation in his eyes and a teasing smile peeking on his lips. Great. "You're scared."

You averted your gaze, still feeling the effects of the alcohol on you – if you moved too quickly, everything around you felt like it was spinning and it was making you nauseous. That ride on the motorcycle was surely going to bring you back to your sober self. "No but... I just think that..." you closed your mouth for a moment and looked away, embarrassed. "Yes."

Jungkook started laughing and grabbed one of the helmets. "Y/n" he said your name after you had told him a few moments earlier, while escaping from the pub. "I'll respect all speed limits and I'll drive you home safely. I promise you."

You stared at him in the eyes for a few moments. "I know. I know you will but... just the thought of being on two wheels instead of four makes me anxious."

"I've been driving this for years. Come on, trust me."

"I can't trust you just because you say so but..." you sighed and randomly decided to look somewhere else: it happened to be the exact place where Suji and Yoongi were coming from, still looking for you. "You know what? Never mind, I trust you" you grabbed the helmet and ignored the never-ending vibration coming from your phone. "I'm ready to go."

Jungkook smiled brightly and just then you noticed his bunny teeth, which again, like his eyes, made him look so much younger. He was hot... Yet, cute.

"Where do I put my hands?" You asked once you got on the motorcycle behind him, not really sure if it was okay to be bold and just wrap them around his torso.

"Is this a way of asking me if you can hug me?" Jungkook was teasing you, again.

You rolled your eyes, but he couldn't see you. "No." Yes.

"Then, hug me" he reached his hands behind him and grabbed your wrists unexpectedly, putting them around his waist. "Like this."

You bit your lower lip and realised you were enjoying that more than you should have – he slightly tensed when you placed your palms on his stomach, but he quickly relaxed and lightly patted a hand over yours. That gesture made you smile; it was as if he was trying to reassure you over and over again, and it was adorable. But then you heard Suji calling your name and that nice atmosphere disappeared in the blink of an eye. "Go, go! Those two are looking for me but they're a pain in the ass." As well as the demon who has now decided to send me messages on my damn hand! You couldn't read them anyway; the darkness didn't allow that.

"As you desire, miss." Jungkook then started the engine and drove away in no time, leaving your best friend and your crush behind.

You sighed in relief when you realised you didn't have to face the newly formed couple and... and you also realised that you weren't as okay as you thought you were. You couldn't watch them being together, at least, not so soon – it bothered you seeing them hugging and being so close, and you told yourself it was normal. So you weren't going to force yourself to accept their relationship, not when you felt like running away from them every time they were together.
