Your POV
Even though you had no idea how to explain or even try to say out loud what you were thinking, that specific idea was the only thing you could think of. And you hoped Jungkook was able to help you. So, without wasting any time, you talked to him. "Where are you?"
"Uhm, at home, why?"
"Can you come over? To my place?"
Jungkook stayed silent for a moment. "Now?"
"Yes, it's very important. Actually, no. It's extremely urgent."
"Why? What happened? Did your dad do anything?"
You walked to your window and looked outside. Not a single soul, not even lights on in your neighbour's homes. "Yes, and if you have a backup team or anyone else, please bring them with you."
You heard something shifting, and you assumed it was him jumping off the bed. "How serious is this?"
As you were looking outside your window, you hoped to see at least a car drive by, but nothing. It was dark, and even if you tried to believe that everyone was asleep, you feared that wasn't the case. "Very. Please, come fast, and call me when you're outside."
"I need you to give me more information, y/n. I can't just go there based on the fact that you told me this is very serious. No one will believe me."
"My dad put a spell on my mother, she can't move. He caught Lexi. He..." you stopped for an instant, sending away the big lump that was slowly forming in your throat. Saying it out loud made it too real, and you still couldn't believe it. "He killed... he killed my best friend."
Jungkook didn't talk, he was probably too surprised to be able to say anything.
"He wanted to catch me and Jimin to do God knows what..."
"Jimin? Who's that?"
You frowned, and then realised you had never told him about the demon in your basement. You covered your mouth, because that was a lot to explain, and you didn't have time. You had no idea what was going on in that basement as of now, and it was driving you crazy. "It's a devil my dad caught. He's in our basement but he's not bad. He..."
"He's not bad?" Jungkook voice was so sarcastic. You could hear him taking things in the background, so you safely assumed he was going to come to your house.
"He's not, but I don't have time to explain. Just come here, armed with everything you guys need to fight a magician. But please, if what I think it's going on is true, do not hurt Jimin. I'm begging you, okay?"
"He will hurt us first. For sure. We can't risk-"
"He won't!" you raised your voice, frustration building inside of you. "He knows you, he knows what kind of person you are, and he won't hurt you! Trust me, Jungkook. Just this time, trust me."
Jungkook sighed. "I can't promise anything, but I will try not to hurt him. I can't promise that the others won't, though."
You nodded, taking deep breaths. "Thank you. And don't forget to call me when you're here, okay? I might need to explain something to you. So please, call me."
"Okay, I'll be there as soon as possible. Stay safe okay?"
"You, too. Be quick."
When the call ended, you took the biggest breath and let yourself fall on the ground. You felt so overwhelmed, and there was nothing concrete you could do. But still, you had to try. You still couldn't believe Jimin had done that to you, whatever that was. Everyone else was still in the basement, while you were there, in some sort of parallel universe where all of the people in your house disappeared. And probably everyone else in the world. Except for you.
