:: your POV
"Uh-oh" was the only sound you heard from Lexi since you started healing Jimin.
It made you open your eyes, worried that you had done something bad - that maybe the room was burning and you weren't even aware of it. "What-" you started to say, but as your eyes settled on Jimin, you understood why she'd made that sound.
White aura was surrounding Jimin, totally contrasting with the black one you'd seen the first day when he came to your house, and with the red light he had used to save you from Lexi. You didn't know why and how it became white, but what worried you the most was the red aura surrounding you.
You turned your head to look at your other arm and the result was the same, red all around yourself - your arms, torso and legs were all surrounded by this hot and tingling aura which made it hard for you to keep a straight face. "What is going on?" You asked while looking at Jimin.
He shook his head, as if to let you know he had no idea.
So, you glanced at Lexi. "Do you know what this is?" You were just hoping for a positive answer, you were hoping she'd say it was nothing bad, or serious.
She shook her head, too. "Weirdest thing I've ever seen."
You started to panic and retracted your hand from Jimin's chest, hoping that it would help eliminate the red glow around you. You stretched your arms in front of you and got on your feet, waiting with a pounding heart for the aura to disappear.
"What did you do?" Jimin stood in front of you, just centimetres away from the bars and looking into your eyes. He was confused, probably even annoyed.
You frowned. "I should be the one asking that. Did you do something while I was healing you?"
"How would I even do this? I was barely standing on my knees."
You averted your gaze, because it made sense. The wound was about to kill him and there you were, accusing him of creating whatever that thing around you and him was. The good part, though, was that the aura was slowly fading away - both from you and Jimin. You had no idea what that meant, no idea what the consequences would be, but right now you were too tired to think about that. You didn't know using your powers was going to be so hard. "I know. I'm sorry, I just panicked."
Jimin never once looked at Lexi, his eyes were constantly on you and you wondered if it was because he just wanted to do it, or because he wanted to break your neck for causing that aura mess. As soon as he spoke, though, it was clear he meant no harm. "Thank you, y/n, but don't ever do that again. Freaking scared me."
You arched an eyebrow. "I scared you?"
Lexi chuckled silently, finding it funny that you pointed that out.
"Things I can't control are scary, okay?" He started walking back and forth with his arms crossed against his chest, causing his biceps to stand out - now it was very hard to concentrate on whatever he was saying. Him being shirtless was already hard enough, now this? "There aren't many things I'm scared of, obviously." He said that as if he wanted to appear very strong and fearless, but it only made you laugh. "What's so funny?"
"You." You stated, teasingly.
Jimin raised his eyebrows and quickly took a step closer to the bars, standing right in front of you, like he did a few minutes earlier. Useless to say your smile dropped almost immediately because of how intimidating he was. "Am I?" His brown, intense eyes were staring into yours and it almost felt like your legs were made of jelly as his gaze lowered on your body.
