Iris's POV

It has been a few days since our fight, and Vee wanted to apologise further by asking me out on a little date. There was no sign of the blood moon yet, like no signs of Vee's skin being glossy. I said yes to the date, and here we were. We were at a water fall, sitting happily together on the edge of the little pool.

"I didn't mean to smash your wine glass. I hope you know that." I told her, still feeling some regret after what I did. Vee let out a small sigh, moving her hand on top of mine. "It doesn't matter. It was just a wine glass, besides, you can buy me another one." she told me back. I nodded, before I looked at the water fall, admiring it's beauty. It was around midnight, but I didn't feel tired. I just wanted to be with Vee.

"You are still my girlfriend, no matter what." Vee then said, causing my cheeks to warm up a little bit as she leaned in and kissed my neck, where my mark was. I turned my head to look at her, to see if she was alright. She looked at me back, smiling a little. "I get a tingly feeling whenever you study me like that." she told me. "Study you? No...I was just looking to see if there was any signs that leads to that cursed blood moon." I said to her. She then frowned at me, "Why do you think it's cursed? It brought us back together." she asked me.

"Yeah, I agree with that, but I still think it's cursed. Each time it appears, you turn into someone else. Your vampire side." I replied, until suddenly I saw her eyes flash a dark shade of purple. Calm down, Iris. It might have been a false alarm.

"She just told me that she wants to consume you on the next blood moon, and she loves you very much." Vee decided to tell me. "Why do you talk like that about her, anyway? It's a little weird and creepy." I asked her, before she found my question funny and began to laugh.

"I transform into her on the blood moons. We aren't the same person, even though we look exactly the same. I argue with her in the mirror sometimes, but we get along." she explained to me. Oh...okay. That's still weird though.

I then scooted closer to Vee, resting my head against her shoulder. She wrapped her arm around me, kissing the top of my head before we watched the stars appear in the black sky. I watched Vee point at a big star, "That's you. My beautiful star." she told me.

I then blushed a dark shade of red, before I sat up again and pressed my lips against Vee's. We kissed for only a couple of seconds, which felt like minutes as her lips were addicting. I pulled away, letting out a large yawn.

Vee then stood up, before she took my hand and lifted me up from the floor. We then both walked back to our incredible home, where she dressed me in my night dress and tucked me into bed. As I closed my eyes, I noticed that she had glossy skin...

Don't worry yourself to death, Iris. Just rest.
