CHAPTER 13

BAEKHYUN'S POV:

Completely in a deep slumber, I feel sun rays gently hitting my back. Shuffling on the bed I wake up to the sight of Naomi waking up. She looks though a bit messed up but is still cute. "Good morning, Naomi". She smiles sleepily "Good morning Baekhyun". Sitting on the bed and leaning my head on the headrest I suddenly feel to do something for this cutie beside me. "How did you sleep". "I slept pretty well but I'm still sleepy". I chuckle softly. "Sleepyhead, are we?" "Hmmmm".

She stretches on the bed but still snuggles back into the rug like a kid. I smile seeing this cute side of her. Never thought that Naomi, who always showed a mature side of her can be this cute. I understand she is the third eldest of all, so she has always given the <Elder sister> vibe, always matured and no fun or cuteness. I always thought she's no fun but then I was wrong. She's a lot fun to be with. We did create memories that can never be forgotten. She loved Soo and I loved Seren, we still are comfortable. Though we are good friends, I never thought of her as my wife. Crazy isn't it. 8 months. I adore her a lot, but can it be called love, I'm not sure of it.

She turns to her right and rubs her eyes while lying on the bed. She opened her eyes just to close it again. Uhuh... not to sleep. She smiles when I plant a gentle kiss on her forehead, bending down to her level. "You should wake up now. It's 7:30 Am Naomi". She stretches and sits on the bed by my side. "You had a meeting right Baekhyun, When's it". "OH, that it's in an hour". She nods. "Let's get ready hmm?". "Okay, and Naomi can you please choose a suit for me today". She giggles. "Why are you talking as if it's my first-time selecting suits for your meetings". I smile and rub the back of my neck. "Naomi" "Yeah".

She turns around and we look at each other. "I'm sorry". She smiles understandingly. "It's fine". "Without even me telling the reason". "Well, I'm not sure, is it because you're still not out of your feelings for seren and also are hurt cuz I'm your wife and you're not in love with me?" I'm dumbstruck when she exactly said what I was thinking or rather umm feeling?? "Umm, you aren't hurt or mad because of this".

She rummages to search for a suit  "Umm, you're right. I'm a bit hurt, but then those are feelings, and for a feeling to fade away, it takes time, so the other one has to be patient". "Are your feelings towards Soo fading too". "Umm, I don't know". "I made the environment awkward I guess". She takes the suit and puts it on the bed. "No, you didn't". She smiles brightly which unknowingly makes me smile. "Go and get ready Baekhyun, It's 7:50 am already". "Alright". I take the necessary stuff and dash to the washroom to get ready.

SEREN'S POV:

I smile as I feel I'm sleeping on a cloud. *When did the couch become so soft*. I rub my eyes and see Soo all freshened up. White high neck shirt and black skin-tight jeans with a chestnut colour overcoat that beautifully complements his body structure. My eyes were busy seeing adoring him when I hear a voice. "Uhm is something wrong". "Huh, no, not at all". Looking at the time I gasp. It's freaking 7:50 am. I immediately remove the covers off me and help him finish readying himself. "You should have woken me up, why didn't you" "Because you don't sleep, you hibernate". I scoff and he chuckles "Sure, hibernate, I'm not a polar bear". "You're no less either". I fix his coat. "Fine, think what you want to". I roll my eyes. He clearly knows I don't like being called a bear, but he likes messing up with me.

I feel a sudden pain in my back but I hide a yelp. "Why did you hide it". I look at him. "Hide what?" "That your back aches when you sleep on the couch". How did he know? I clear my throat and say "You're mistaken and also your coat is all set, All the best for the meeting". I make a distance between us only to be closer than I was. My eyes try every single trick not to make a contact. "Look at me Seren ". I hesitantly look at him and I yelp in pain when he suddenly massages my back. "Are we still sure, that your back doesn't hurt." Well, I would be lying if  I say it doesn't hurt.

"You don't have to worry about it, it'll be fine soon". "Let's see about that, but from today onwards you will not be sleeping on the couch. Is that clear". "Huh? Then where should I". "On our bed". I get surprised which makes me look at him "O-our bed?". He nods "Yeah, our bed". If I sleep on the bed, where will he sleep? Don't tell me on the couch. I don't want his back to pain. I get lost in my thoughts and it breaks when I feel that I'm being lifted. "K-kyungsoo, W-what are you doing". "The thing I should have done a lot earlier". "Huh?". He walks to the bed with me in his arms.

This is the first time after marriage that he is lifting me and I can't help but feel butterflies. He gently places me on the bed and keeps a pillow behind my back so that I can sit comfortably. "You should take care of your back Seren, I don't want to see you getting hurt again". I smile as softly as possible. "Don't worry, that was a small accident, I won't hurt my back again, ever". "It's not only your back, I don't want you to get hurt in any way". He rummages through the drawer to find the medicines. My eyes follow his every action. "Kyungsoo, I-."

"Take it after you're done having your breakfast. And please don't hide your pain". I nod. "Good luck with the meeting". "Thanks, Seren". We smile at each other and then he leaves. I receive a message and I reach my phone and it's from Soo. It reads.

[ CHAT BUBBLE]:

Kyungsoo: The reason I didn't wake you up is that it's been days since you slept peacefully. That being said, doesn't change the fact that you're a polar bear. For the past 7 months, you've been sleeping on the couch uncomfortably and I don't like seeing you uncomfortable in any way. So, we will be sharing the bed from tonight. Take care, Will be home soon :)))

A smile upon reading his message. Such a cutie he is. I reply

Me: Alright, reach safely penguin ;) and you too take care.

Kyungsoo: I will dw.

Oh did he have breakfast? *He must be fuming inside as he still didn't find the person behind my injuries and attacks*. I text him again.

Me: Did you have your breakfast before leaving?

Kyungsoo: Umm.. no but dw. Will have it on my way to set .

Me: Be careful of what you eat alright?

Kyungsoo: Alright, Will talk to you later, See you. Have your breakfast and take your meds before you leave for work.
Also, the weather is really pleasant so you can wear your comfy clothes. Will pick you up from work once I'm done for the day, All the best. 

Me: Thanks but you don't have to pick me up . I'll come home in my car .

Kyungsoo: Shhh.... do as I say. However your office is close to my set .... So go with Siofra and I'll pick you up at night
                                                                                                              Me: Hmm... alright :)

Kyungsoo: Good, now get ready and take care .

Me: okayyyy.... you too take care.

Kyungsoo:  :)))))))

[ END OF CHAT BUBBLE]

I happily get up from my bed and get ready for the day.

CHAPTER 13 published. Not bad Baekhyun and Kyungsoo... they do care about Naomi and Seren respectively. But why do you think they do? Is it because they have this sense of responsibility towards their wives or there's something more to it? What do you think about this my dear readers? Do let me know even if you're thinking differs from mine. I would love to see different POV's.

Having said that, please do take care of yourselves, stay healthy and safe. Follow all the precautions required to keep you and your family and also the people around you safe.
