CHAPTER 34

MINSEOK'S POV:

We go down for dinner. I see Sereia coming with Rhian and Zyanya. Soo looks at her. "Hello, sis in law". "Hey dear. All good". I look at Soo and he smiles tightly. "Yeah, everything's good". "That's great". She looks at me and I look at her. Looking away and raising my eyebrow, I say "Let's go Soo". His gaze oscillates between me and her. I understood what's he trying to say. "Soo, let's go". Rhian and Zyanya chirp. Sensing the tension between us, he agrees and goes with them. I go from there, but Sereia holds me by my wrist. "Min, are you still mad?". A dry chuckle leaves my mouth hearing that Rhetorical question. "Yeah, I am". She pulls me so that I face her. "Why are you still mad, it's been a year already Min".

"Exactly. It's been a year and yet you didn't even ask her how she is". I hold her by her shoulder. "She's your sister, your own sister Sereia. I'm not telling you to support her or something. But asking her how she is won't make you inferior Sereia". My anger takes over. "But Min, what she did was and is wrong". I look at her unbelievably and calm myself down so that I don't yell at her. "What you've done and are doing isn't right either. You're the eldest Sere. Remember that".  Remembering how Nova left us because of a fight, I don't want Seren to leave the same way. We can't handle any more loved ones leaving us. And especially not Soo, he can't.

Seren has just started healing him and then this happened. Tears threaten to flow but I control it. "I don't want to start any other fight, so let's have dinner and I'll be spending time with Soo, as he needs me". She nods and comes along with me to the dining hall. I know Sereia sprained her wrist, so I pull the chair and make her sit. Seeing her down expression makes me sad. *Was I rude*. I silently sigh and help her fill her plate. The only thing that's a relief to me is none of the relationships other than Baek, Soo and mine are off. Zyanya didn't even scold Sehun once after saying all of it.

She though was mad at him, but she also knew that it was sehun's rage that made him say something she never meant. The day Seren revealed that she had to go to another place for a project, Sehun couldn't handle it. He loves Seren a lot. He got so hurt that he thought she's running away from the mess she created but when he got to know the actual reason, he became a Lil emotional. He also understood what Seren actually meant, so all the hard feelings he had for her dissipated. Our dinner goes as usual with dad making jokes to lighten the atmosphere. "Soo, dear". Mom calls. "Y-yeah aunt". He responds.

"What's wrong. You're just twirling the fork with your fingers and not a single morsel has been taken hmm. Do you want something else to eat, something lite perhaps?". Uncle and aunt look at him and smile softly as they know what's going on inside his brain and heart.  Seeing his plate, it's spaghetti. His and Seren's fav. "No aunt, I'm fine. I was almost going to eat". "Sure Kyung Soo?" Dad asks. He gives a smile assuring that he's going to have it.  "Yeah uncle, very sure". They smile and eat so does Soo. I check on Sereia and she's finding it difficult to cut the meat, so I do it for her instead. She smiles which makes all my anger go away. I smile back.

After finishing our dinner, we make our way to our rooms. I and Sereia get inside our room and after she closed the door, I hold her hands in mine. "Sere, I hope you're not mad at me for how I behaved a while ago". She giggles. "I'm not. In fact, you're right. Being the eldest, I should have at least asked Mrs Ji as to how's she doing. I mean I'm still mad at what she had done but yeah". I sigh silently closing my eyes. "I agree what she has done is wrong, but what you said was wrong too, don't you think?". "What I said was true, and I don't have any intentions of taking back what I said". I grow tired of hearing this so I just shut my mouth.

Sighing I tell "Do what you feel like Sereia. But let me remind you that not everything you think is broken is actually broken. Cuz there's always a string holding onto it. Tie it before the strength of that one string gives up". She raises her eyebrow she asks "What are you implying to Min". "You'll get to know when the time comes. For now, rest. You had a long day". "What about you". "As I had said before, I'm going to spend time with Soo. Change into your comfortable nightwear and sleep. Good night". I kiss her forehead and then go out of the room. *I just hope you're staying strong Seren*. I think and go to Soo's room taking what Seren gave me when we met a few days back.
